Meizu, one of the popular Chinese smartphone makers already announced that it will enter the Indian market soon. Today the company has announced on its social channels it will finally be coming to in India on May 18th. The new teaser says Are you ok? 5.18 See! See! We’ve heard you and here is the date. #0518 – J. Wong, a message from Meizu’s founder Jack Wong. Meizu has not revealed which smartphone it will launch in India first. It started teasing the M1 Note smartphone since last month on its social channels and we also got to check out the smartphone last month.

HTC has finally started rolling out Android 5.0.1 (Lollipop) update for the HTC Desire 816 users in India. The HTC One M8 got the Lollipop update in India earlier this year and the One M7 got the update in India in March. HTC is yet to roll out Lollipop update for the Desire 820 smartphone in India, but it is expected to get the update soon. Check out the change log. Spice Fire One Mi-FX2, the second Firefox OS smartphone from Spice is now available from Saholic. It has the same 3.5-inch HVGA screen and is powered by a 1GHz processor, similar to the Mi-FX1 that was launched last year, but this adds 3G support and features a 2-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Microsoft has sent out invites for the launch of Lumia 540 Dual SIM in India that was announced last month. The invite says Come. Meet us to welcome the newest member of the Microsoft Lumia family. It also has an image of the Lumia 540 Dual SIM in Cyan color. Microsoft already said that the smartphone will roll out first in India and other countries in Asia Pacific from early May 2015.
