Lenovo-owned Moto just launched its latest Moto E4 Plus smartphone, as it had promised. The main highlight of the phone is its 5000mAh battery and comes with fast charging support using 10W rapid charger. It has a metal body, packs a fingerprint sensor on the front and runs Android 7.1.1 (Nougat).
FoneArena first reported about the massive data leak of over 120 million users of Reliance Jio users on Sunday. Now, a latest report from Reuters states that police have detained a suspect in western Indian state of Rajasthan. The man is suspected to be involved in leaking personal data of over 120 million Jio users to a website named “Magicapk.com”.

After Moto M, the Moto X Style has started receiving Android 7.0 (Nougat) update in India. It was launched in the country with Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) back in October 2015 and got the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in November 2015, so this is the third major update for the phone.

Xiaomi just sent out invites for the launch of its next Mi smartphone in India on July 18th. The invite says “Last year, we made ripples with this new category and now it is back. Join us in witnessing the return on ‘BIG’ at Xiaomi media briefing” that clearly hints at the launch of Mi Max 2, successor of last year’s Mi Max.
Uber, Amazon and Google are working towards foraying into Unified Payment Interface (UPI), according to a latest report from ET. According to National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI), the cab aggregator is expected to launch UPI via BHIM app integration by this month.

Indian government has finally approved Amazon India’s proposed $500 million investment in food retail. The news comes a month after Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal stated that the government will soon clear the investment. The proposal was pending before the foreign investment promotion board (FIPB) which has been abolished now. Samsung has launched Galaxy On Max, its latest smartphone in the ‘On Series’. It has almost the same specifications as the Galaxy J7 Max that was launched recently, including a 5.7-inch 1080p display, Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P25 Lite SoC, Android 7.0 (Nougat), 13MP front and rear cameras with LED flash, fingerprint sensor on the front and Samsung Pay Mini for UPI and Paytm Payments, but this doesn’t have Smart Glow light around the camera. Maruti Suzuki has started rolling out Android Auto as part of an update to its SmartPlay infotainment system. The automakers latest models – Ignis and Dzire, already came with Android Auto. Maruti had introduced the SmartPlay infotainment system with Ciaz and that was later expanded to Ertiga, Vitara Brezza and the S-Cross. These cars will now get the Android Auto update.
