Xiaomi’s MIUI is well-known for the customizations it offers, despite being user-friendly and customizable, people had some complaints with MIUI such as Notification Shade and MIUI Launcher. Xiaomi hugely improved the notification shade with last two iterations of MIUI but MIUI Launcher didn’t get much improvements and features. HUAWEI’s HONOR brand announced the ‘HONOR 9X’ smartphone alongside the 9X Pro back in July last year. There were multiple reports that the smartphone will launch in India by the end of 2019. But now finally after multiple teasers, HONOR is launching the ‘HONOR 9X’ smartphone in India on January 14th, 2020.
Vivo has launched the S1 Pro smartphone in India after teasing it recently. It packs a 6.38-inch FULL HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio Super AMOLED notch display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 90% screen-to-body ratio and minimal bezels. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and runs Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9 (Pie). realme launched the realme XT back in September last year starting at Rs. 15,999. It launched the realme X2 last month starting at Rs. 16,999 with improved specifications, however it did not cut the price of the XT at that time. Airtel launched 4G services back in 2012 in India and has been expanding the coverage across the country. The company is also expanding its services in remote villages gradually and on similar lines now, Airtel has launched 4G and 2G services in 26 villages in Ladakh and becomes the first operator to bring high-speed internet to these villages.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has launched Free Wi-Fi facilities in train coaches on its Airport Express Line, the first such facility in any country in the South Asian region. Delhi Metro launched ‘High speed Free Wi-Fi’ facility at Metro stations back in 2017. The DMRC plans to extend the facility to Lines 1-6 in the future. It currently provides Wi-Fi facility at platforms of many of its major stations, including those on yellow and blue lines.
