Airtel Rising Stars launched to hunt the best under-16 soccer players across India

 

Airtel has launched, Airtel Rising Stars, a new under-16 soccer talent hunt that would choose 12 talented footballers who will get the chance-to attend a week long training camp with Manchester United in Old Trafford, England. Starting mid-July 2012, this 3-months long talent hunt will be conducted in 16 cities (including Mumbai, Delhi, Goa, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Calicut, Chandigarh and Jaipur) with the support of the respective State Football Associations. HTC Desire C officially launched in India for Rs. 14,999


HTC has officially launched the Desire C, their new Android smartphone with Beats Audio and  Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4.0. It was announced last month and went on sale in India from online retailer earlier this month. It comes with 3.5-inch (320 x480 pixels) display and is powered by 600 MHz processor. It has 5MP camera and is just 12.25 mm thick. It has durable metal frame and has hyper-viewing angle display and metal camera bezel.

HTC Desire V Dual SIM Smartphone now available in India for Rs. 21,999

HTC Desire V that was announced earlier this month is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. The HTC Desire V is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) phone with Dual Standby but not Dual Active like the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos. It pack in a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1GHZ single-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4.0 UI. HTC One S officially launched in India for Rs. 33,590

 

HTC has officially launched the One S in India. It was announced the One S at MWC 2012 and it went on sale in India from online retailers earlier this week. It has 4.3-inch (540×960 pixels) AMOLED display, 1.7 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor, 8MP auto focus camera with flash, 1080p HD video recording and VGA front-facing. It runs on Android 4.0 ICS with HTC Sense 4 UI. It is made of  exclusive materials such as forged stainless steel frame, hand-wrapped leather back cover, sculpted QWERTY keyboard, and crystal clear touch display and has exclusive Porsche Design UI on top of the latest BlackBerry OS 7. Motorola Razr V with 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0 coming to India in Q3 2012

Motorola launched the Razr Maxx in India and also announced that the Razr V would be available in third quarter of (Q3) 2012. It has 4.3-inch (960×540 pixels) display with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It has Kevlar back similar to the Motorola Razr and Razr Maxx. It is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 8MP auto-focus camera with flash and VGA front-facing camera. Motorola Razr Maxx launched in India for Rs. 31,590

Motorola has launched the Razr Maxx in India. It went on pre-order from online retailer Infibeam last week but the recommended retail price is much lesser than that. The phone comes with a 3300 mAh battery, which offers up to 17.6 hours of talk-time and 607 hours standby on a single charge. It is 8.99 mm thick and weighs 145 grams. Vodafone officially announces new 3G data plans


Vodafone has officially announced its new 3G data plans. Vodafone reduced its 3G tariffs for pre-paid customers last month, but the plans were not clear. Later they announced post-paid 3G plans that were applicable only in select circles. These new plans start from Rs. 25 for 25 MB data usage and go up to Rs. 1599 for 12 GB of data usage. Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos Dual SIM GSM Smartphone officially launched in India


Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Ace DUOS (GT- S6802) in India. It was announced last month and went on sale earlier this month. It has Dual SIM support with hot swap function and Dual SIM always-on feature that automatically forwards calls from the phone number on SIM 2, even if a user is on the phone with SIM 1’s number.
