Xioami has announced that is postponing its international expansion plans. Earlier this year, the company had planned to enter into 10 foreign markets but it will now expand to only five.
Qualcomm has released reference smartphone and tablet hardware kits. Priced at $799 and $999 respectively, the mobile development platforms are being offered by the Canadian company Intrinsyc.

Yota Devices announced the YotaPhone 2 back in February at the MWC. The first generation YotaPhone was launched in December 2013 at an event in Russia and was launched in India recently. This year the launch event for the YotaPhone 2 is set for December 3rd in London. It will be an invitation-only event, says YotaPhone. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat).

Now the Vivo X5Max L smartphone with just 4.75mm thickness has been certified on China’s TENAA certification website. Couple of weeks back Microsoft officially announced that it would replace the Nokia branding on upcoming Lumia smartphones with Microsoft.
