Samsung just sent a chill down our spine by launching the Samsung Galaxy Note- an Android Phone with a 5.3 inch display ! If you thought the Galaxy S2 had a big display ? Get ready for a bigger display. I’m not sure how many of us can grip a 5.3 inch phone in one hand ! The specs seem pretty impressive with a 1.4 GHz Dual Core Processor , 5.3 inch HD SuperAMOLED Plus display (1280×960 pixels resolution) and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. There is a 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP camera on the front. It weighs 100grams and is 12.3mm thick. The folks at SammyHub have posted the first photos of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 which seems like a 7.7 inch Android Honeycomb tablet. From what we can see , it runs on Android Honeycomb , sports a 7.7 inch display with no physical menu keys and includes a 3.5 mm audio jack on the top. We had the chance to check out the NFC feature in the newly announced Symbian Belle Phones. You can transfer photos from one phone to another by merely tapping the phones together. Watch the video below to see the technology in action. In the first part of the video a photo is clicked with a Nokia 600 and is sent to another device via NFC or Near Field Communication. In the second part a wallpaper is shared in a similar fashion.

Samsung finally launched the much-awaited Galaxy S II in the US. The AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint version of the Galaxy S II is called as AT&T Galaxy S II, T-Mobile Galaxy S II and Samsung Epic 4G Touch respectively.
Samsung Galaxy S II is already available in most of the European and Asian countries from the last 3 months, but the customers in the US were left behind. This handset was announced and showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 in Barcelona. After waiting for almost 3 months, Samsung finally went ahead and launched the much-awaited Galaxy S II in the US. The BlackBerry Torch 2 (9810) has been launched in India within a month of the official launch in UK. The launch of the BlackBerry 9810 comes close on the heels of the Bold 9900 launch. The 9810 is the successor to the Torch 9800 and packs a 1.2 GHz processor and runs on the new BlackBerry OS 7. The Torch 2 is priced at Rs.29990 , slightly lower than the Bold 9900.

Meet the Nokia 700 which is one of the sexiest smartphones we have come across in recent times.We fell in love with the form factor and screen instantly. Nokia announced the 701 along with the 600 and 700 at the event in Hong Kong. We got our hands on the Nokia 701 and it is certainly a well designed phone taking cues from the C7. Just when everyone was thinking , Symbian has reached it’s end Nokia surprised us by launching 3 new Symbian phones running the newest version of Symbian – Belle and packing other interesting goodies such as a 1GHz Processor and NFC ( Near Field Communication ).
