Nokia Lumia 610 now in stock at UK retailers

The low-cost Windows Phone from Nokia the Lumia 610 which was announced at MWC 2012 is now in-stock at select retailers in the UK and priced very competitively. The affordable Windows Phone is available from 145.99 GBP excluding VAT ( Rs.12620 approx / 230 USD ) only in Black colour at the moment and the Cyan version is expected to be in stock in a few days. Samsung Galaxy S3 lands on eBay India , priced at Rs.39999

The India launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 is round the corner , May 31 being the date and Samsung has even started taking Pre-Orders for it’s biggest handset launch of the year. But Samsung has not revealed the price of it’s flagship Android device. The Galaxy S3 has landed on eBay India with a price tag of Rs.39,999 Rs.44770 and the seller says that the phone will be delivered after 1st June 2012. The Samsung Galaxy S2 was a big hit for Samsung and the company is looking to repeat history with the Galaxy S3. It might won some carrier confidence already as reports indicate over 9 million pre-orders for the device.  The device is yet to reach consumers and goes on sale in many markets on May 31st and would be interesting to see the consumer response.

NTT Docomo unveils 19 new devices including 16 smartphones and a Tablet

 

Japan’s NTT Docomo has announced 18 new phones in Japan that includes 16 smartphones, a tablet, a phone for children as well as a mobile Wi-Fi router. All the smartphones run on Android 4.0 and supports DOCOMO’s Xi LTE service. The ELUGA Live P-08D tablet that runs on Android 4.0. Baidu Cloud smartphone announced in China

 

Chinese search engine giant Baidu and China Unicom has announced a new phone, Changhong H5018 based on their new Baidu Cloud Smart Terminal platform. This platform integrates the core technologies of Baidu Cloud Computing, including Baidu’s numerous Cloud-based applications, Personal Cloud Storage service, and multi-terminal, multi-application software platform capabilities. It supports WCDMA + GSM Dual SIM with Dual standby and has uni-body design. It comes with 3.5-inch (320×480 pixels) touch screen display and is powered by 650 MHz processor. HTC Desire C images and specs surface

HTC Desire C press shots and specifications has surfaced one that Vodafone Portugal posted accidentally before the official announcement. According to the press images that GSMArena managed to grab from the site, the phone would feature a 3.5-inch ( 320×480 pixels) display and 600MHz processor. Samsung Galaxy S3 Hands On Video

We managed to get our hands on the Samsung Galaxy S3 again at CTIA after the London event from where you saw the Photo Gallery and our live blog.The Galaxy S3 is actually a feature packed handset and does impress when held in the hand. Only let down is the plasticky finish but even then I seemed to like the white version over the blue version. It is pretty fast and comes out on the top in the benchmarks we tested on it.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Benchmarks

I’m currently attending CTIA in New Orleans in USA and guess what I found at a Mobile Focus show last nite here – the Samsung Galaxy S3 which was just shown off in London last week is now being show off here. I held the S3 for the first time in the hand and it felt nice except for the plasticky outer shell. The display was gorgeous and the phone was screaming fast. RIM announces BlackBerry Curve 9320

RIM  (Research in Motion) has announced BlackBerry Curve 9320 with 3G connectivity. They launched the BlackBerry Curve 9220, an affordable smartphone with 2G connectivity in India last month. It has similar design as the 9220 and has 2.44-inch (320×240 pixels) TFT display with a QWERTY keyboard and a dedicated BBM button. Other than the 3G support this has 3.2MP camera with Flash and runs on BlackBerry OS 7.1. Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy S III, their first Quad-core phone. Here is the comparison between 3 latest Quad-core phones, Samsung Galaxy S III successor of the Galaxy S II, HTC One X and the LG Optimus 4X HD, successor of the LG Optimus 2X.
