Huawei Ascend P6 Benchmarks

Huawei Ascend P6, the company’s latest flagship smartphone went on sale in India earlier this week. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier today. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Ascend P6 has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display based on in-cell LCD screen technology and is powered by a the Huawei’s own K3v2 processor developed by HiSilicon Technologies from Huawei. It has four 4 ARM Cortex A9 cores based on ARMv7 architecture. The chip is based on 40nm technology. It has a 16-core Vivante GC4000 GPU. Intex Aqua HD Benchmarks

Intex launched the Aqua HD along with Aqua i4 in India last month. We brought you the unboxing of the device last week, here we have the benchmarks of the device. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). It packs a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Canvas 4.  Let’s find out how this compete with other devices in range of synthetic benchmark tests.

Gionee Elife E6 Benchmarks

Gionee Elife E6 Benchmarks-1

Gionee launched the Elife E6 in India last week. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU similar to the Elife E5. Even though this has a faster processor, this has a high-resolution display, so the GPU scores would be less than the Elife E5 that we reviewed recently. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD display based on one-glass solution (OGS+) technology and Gorilla glass 3 protection and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) with Amigo UI. Let’s find out how this compete with other devices in range of synthetic benchmark tests.

Sony Xperia Z1 Benchmarks

Xperia Z1 Benchmarks

Sony launched the Xperia Z1, their latest flagship Android phone with a 5-inch 1080p display and a Snapdragon 800 processor in India recently. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 330 GPU. As you can see on the image above CPU-Z says that it is clocked at 2.15 GHz. The Xperia Z Ultra was also powered by the same chip. Micromax Canvas Tab P650 Benchmarks

Micromax launched the Canvas Tab P650, the company’s first tablet in the Canvas series last month. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week. Here we have the benchmarks of the tablet. It has a 8-inch (1024 x 768 pixels)  4:3 display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8389 Cortex A7 processor with PowerVR SGX544 MP2 GPU and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). The Xolo tab that was also released last month had a similar 8-inch display, but it is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 200 (MSM8225Q) processor. We don’t have the Xolo Tab yet to compare it with the Canvas Tab, let’s find out how it performs with other Android tablets in various synthetic benchmark tests.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Snapdragon 800 vs Exynos 5 Octa

We did a comparison between the Snapdragon 600 and the Exynos 5 Octa 5410 for the Galaxy S4 back in May, here we have the Note 3 to compare the benchmarks of the Snapdragon 800 and the Exynos 5 Octa 5420, the latest high-end chips from both Qualcomm and Samsung. The Snapdragon 800 processor is clocked at 2.3 GHz. The Exynos version uses Samsung’s ARM big.LITTLE architecture with fours Cortex A15 chips clocked at 1.9 GHz and four Cortex A7 chips running at 1.3 GHz. The Exnos 5 Octa chip has a ARM Mail T628 GPU instead of PowerVR SGX544MP3 GPU present in the Exynos 5410. The Snapdragon 600 chip has a Adreno 330 GPU, faster than the Adreno 320 present in the S4. Let’s see how these two phones perform in various benchmark tests.

We brought you the benchmarks of the Snapdragon 800 version yesterday which is available for LTE markets. This version is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor with Adreno 330 GPU. Here are the benchmarks for the Indian version that is powered by a 1.9 GHz Exynos 5420 Octa ( A15 1.9 GHz + A7 1.3 GHz) processor with ARM Mail T628 GPU. The Note 3 packs a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Let’s find out which one is better in various benchmark tests.

The LTE version has a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor with Adreno 330 GPU. We managed to get hold of the Snapdragon 800 version to run some synthetic benchmark tests. It packs a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Let’s find out how the smartphone performs in several synthetic benchmark tests.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 Benchmarks

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab 3 211, the company’s latest 7-inch tablet in India back in July. We brought you the unboxing of the device last week, here we have the benchmarks of the tablet. It is powered by a dual-core Marvell PXA986 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and Vivante GC1000 GPU. The last year’s Tab 2 was powered by a dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor. Since this is a mid-range SoC, we can’t expect performance like the Exynos 4 Quad (4412) CPU present in the Note 8.0. LG G2 Benchmarks

LG unveiled the G2, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at an event last month. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.27 GHz with 480 MHz Adreno 330 GPU. The Xperia Z Ultra was clocked at 2.15 GHz, but the G2 is clocked at 2.27 GHz as you can see in the CPU-Z in the image above. We brought you the benchmarks of the Snapdragon 800 on a reference smartphone few months back. Here we have also compared it in these benchmarks to show you the difference. Even though this one is slightly undercloked than the original chip that is clocked at 2.3 GHz, benchmarks are almost similar.

Xolo launched the Q1000S, successor of the Q1000 at a price tag of Rs. 18,999 last month. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the device.  It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU. Since this has a faster processor, the scores would obviously be better than the MT6589 chip clocked at 1.2 GHz present in the Q1000. The Spice Pinnacle FHD Mi-525 that was launched back in July also has the same chip.
