Micromax launched the Canvas Tab P650, the company’s first tablet in the Canvas series earlier this month at a price tag of Rs. 16,500, here we have the device. It has a 8-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) 4:3 display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8389 processor and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean).

The tablet is huge and has an ear piece for voice calling. Since the tablet has 4:3 aspect ratio, it is wide. It also comes with 3G support via SIM card slot. There is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
There is a 5-megapixel auto focus camera on the back. It also has a RESET hole on the top. The tablet has a Micromax branding and a Canvas Tab. The tablet packs 1GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB internal memory, has an expandable memory card slot that accepts cards up to 32 GB. It has 4800 mAh battery.
Remember the snap cover that came with the Canvas Doodle 2? The Canvas tablet also comes with a similar snap cover for free.
The cover has ridges that lets you fold it and make it as a stand for the tablet.
