Google Nexus 7 vs new Nexus 7 Benchmarks

Google released the new Nexus 7 manufactured by Asus last month. We brought you the review of the device recently, and here we managed to compare new and old Nexus 7 tablets in terms of benchmarks . The new Nexus 7 is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) CPU and Adreno 320 GPU and has 2GB of RAM. The first Nexus is powered by a 1.3 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 GPU with 12 Core NVIDIA ULP GeForce GPU and had 1GB of RAM. The new Nexus 7 has a 7-inch 1920×1200 HD display and runs on the latest Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS, we had also updated the old Nexus 7 to Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Let’s see how these two tablets perform in several benchmark tests.

iBall Andi 4.7G Cobalt Benchmarks

iBall launched the Andi 4.7G Cobalt last month at an MRP of Rs. 19995 and currently sells at a price tag of Rs. 17,990. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week, here we have the benchmarks of the device. It has a 4.7-inch (f 1280 by 720 pixels) HD display at 312 PPI pixel density. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Let’s see how it competes with other quad-core smartphones in the Indian market.

Micromax A111 Canvas Doodle Benchmarks

Micromax launched the A111 Canvas Doodle back in May. It has a 5.3-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8625Q processor with Adreno 203 GPU similar to the Karbonn S5 Titanium and the Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro, but this one has 512MB of RAM. Spice Pinnacle FHD Mi-525 Benchmarks

S Mobility has launched the Stellar Pinnacle FHD Mi-525, the company’s first smartphone with a 5-inch full HD display. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU. Since this has a faster processor, the scores would obviously be better than the MT6589 chip clocked at 1.2 GHz. Can this beat other phones such as the Xolo Play powered by a Tegra 3 chip ? Google released the new Nexus 7 manufactured by Asus last month. We brought you the unboxing of the device last week, here we have the benchmarks of the device. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) CPU and Adreno 320 GPU and has 2GB of RAM. The first Nexus was powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 GPU and had 1GB of RAM. We had already seen the Snapdragon S4 Pro chip in several smartphones including the Nexus 4 and the Sony Xperia Tablet Z. Xolo Q600 Benchmarks

Xolo launched the Q600, the company’s latest Android smartphone in the QCORE series last month at a price tag of Rs. 8999. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Q600 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589M processor with 238 MHz PowerVR SGX544 GPU and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Lava E-Tab XTRON Plus Benchmarks

Lava launched the XTRON+, the successor of XTRON recently. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the tablet. In terms of display and processor it is similar to the XTRON that includes a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive multi-touch IPS display and 1.5 GHz dual-core RockChip RK3066 Cortex A9 processor and Mali-400 MP GPU. However the tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). Most of the benchmarks scores are almost similar to the first XTRON tablet that we reviewed earlier this year.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra Benchmarks

Sony Xperia Z Ultra Benchmarks ‘

Sony launched the Xperia Z Ultra, their latest flagship Android phone with a 6.44-inch 1080p display and a Snapdragon 800 processor in India earlier this week. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 330 GPU. As you can see on the image above CPU-Z says that it is clocked at 2.15 GHz. We brought you the benchmarks of the Snapdragon 800 few months back on a reference smartphone. Benchmarks of the Xperia Z Ultra is almost similar to the test device. This one is under clocked a bit from the original chip that is clocked at 2.3 GHz.
