Nokia has been kind enough to keep showering India with Handsets after handsets, and by that not any tiny weenie one’s , the best handsets and most promising one’s and most of them having their global debuts in our Sub Continent.

The recent to follow trend is the promising Nokia 3600 slide. Any old world model that’s re shaped re sized and re made this is the remake of the old 3600, only in the slider form and the OS is the new nicer revamped S40. It’s a treat looking at the mobile and its gonna be a show stealer for the women folk.

Spice Mobiles may be taken over by Sony Ericsson

Looks like it is still a rumour although meetings between the two companies are underway even as we report this.

Spice Mobiles is possibly going to be incorporated into Sony Ericsson.

Feature rich Spice handsets incorporated into high-end Sony Ericsson could only mean that the entry level market for handsets will improve. Buyers of entry level phones will largely benefit from this alliance.

India the Preferred Mobile Destination

Be it tourism, finance, economy, or newest technology, India is now the most preferred destination for all activities. India is now abuzz with activity and yes the world has finally understood its true potential. Well this is certainly why nokia has launched the Nokia E71 and the Nokia 6220 classic here, first amongst several markets. Nokia said India is an emerging market has the largest base for its handset markets. Moreover it’s a strategic move to take on a nearly close yet far rival Samsung.

Nokia E71 retails for 19500 INR and Nokia 6220 Classic retails for 17500 INR.

Nokia Supernova Series

Nokia’s new lineup of Supernova handsets is about to see the Nokia 7610 Supernova handset get real in the US. This seems to be Nokia’s attempt of unleashing stylish handsets at affordable prices. Priced around 225 EUR, the Nokia 7610 Supernova offers Xpress-On covers in a choice of a set of Steel Blue and Red covers offset by a muted gray front surface, or Bright Lilac and Steel Blue contrasted against a white front surface.

Additional features include a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus, instant

messaging and TV out for image sharing. The Nokia 7610 Supernova also offer a dedicated music key, FM radio, an MP3 player and access to Nokia Music Store (where available) via the Nokia Music PC Client.

Arun Sarin Steps down from Vodafone CEO post

May be being an Indian Himself he knew VodaFone India did terribly poor services and most of the subscribers are an unhappy lot.

Well thats not the reason why Arun is stepping down. Arun Sarin is Old He is 53 which is not quite old if he is working in India. Well Arun Sarin informed that he will retiring from the post of CEO of the worlds largest cellular conglomorate Vodafone. (PS Not in India though he is an Indian himself). In Depth Review Of The N82 BLACK

If there is one device that has launched enough punch last year it definitely has to be N82 and if there is something that generated more buzz and fervor than N82 then it was its Black Version. The black version is nothing a colored cousin of the original N82. Looking sexier and more royal, N82 Black is touted to be yet another marketing gimmick from Nokia, which is known to always release similar black versions of its popular models ranging from N70 to N95 yet all. These days it’s a trend for mobile enthusiasts to wait for Black versions of a popular N series Model before they make their purchase plans. It does make sense to do so. Obviously a black version of any N series mobile does look sexier and packs in more punch.

Samsung B200 The new Guru

Samsung have launched the successor to the highly successful B100 (Samsung Guru) model, the Samsung B200. One of the main strong holds for the Samsung model was the attractive series of ads they had promoted the product with. The product itself was meant to be a basic entry level model with no oomph value attached to it. It was a sturdy no frills model. What it did have was a whooping 9 hour continuous talk time battery life.
