I currently own an N82 - black ( 1 month old ) and a W960i ( 3 months old. ) Change phones almost every 3 months coz I become a master over the features of the old one, and want to move over to better technology and newer features. Haven’t picked up a grey market iPhone coz i’d feel like a sprinter with only one leg..
Friends call me a mobile phone consultant coz all techs, specs, prices whatever are on the tips of my fingers and I’m almost a semi-marketing guy for mobile stores around.. Would love to be a part of Fone Arena and looking forward to it.
I am always looking for a new and better phone than ever I used.
Still I am using Nokia 6270, N-72, E-51 but I am very trendy with handsets. Daily I spent at least 1hr to check the latest softwares avilable and handset features.
I am very famous between my friends to suggest them a good phone and available softwares.
About I-phone:- I am not handy familier with this handset because the handset is not availble in India.
I am a big fan of futuristic tech. A phone is in my hand most times a day specially for web browsing purpose.And almost all pages i visit are related to future and current phones.I have tested a varity of phones running s60,uiq,windows mobile,mac mobile(i phone).People of my locality come to me for sugestionsregarding which phone to buy in a given price range,also to troubleshoot their phones.

I currently own a Nokia ExpressMusic 5310 and Nokia 6030. I have an access to a whole variety of mobiles through my friends circle. I love to keep myself updated with the latest phones and softwares.
As regards the iphone this is one cell I couldn’t get my hands on as yet.
I CURRENTLY USE SAMSUNG J210 BEFORE THAT I WAS USEING NOKIA E62 I AM IN HABIT OF CHANGING CELL EVERY MONTH. BASICALLY I AM MOBILE GEEK. LOT ALL MY FRIEND CALL ME BEFORE BUYING NEW CELL PHONE.I AM WELL VERSED WITH ALL KIND OF OS.I DONT USE IPHONE BUT I HAVE CHECKED IT OUT OF MY FRIEND .WAITING FOR ITS OFFICAL LAUNCH. Hai fonearena, it’s good to hear from my favourite web portal people that they are recruiting tech savvy/mobile savvy people into their team. I currently own an Sony Ericsson P1i and i have used many phones like Nokia 6610, 6600, 6630, and Sony Ericsson W810i. I change phones only after studying thoroughly about their featues, drawbacks and applications compatibility. To learn more about mobile OS, new releases and available applications for the mobile, I regularly browse many web sites such as http://www.allaboutsymbian.com, getjar.com, gsmarena.com, esato.com, uiq.com, uiqblog.com, dotsis.com, ipmart-forum.com, mobile9.com and of course fonearena.com and it’s my favourite for latest news, reviews and price. My friends take my opinion before buying any electronic gadgets. Recently my friend brought Moto ROKR E6, and HP IPAQ 512 but they were not compatible with many applications and i suggested him to buy SE P1i. I am using IM+ 4.09, operamini 4.1, Fring 3.30, walkman player v3 on p1i. I am eagerly waiting for your reply.
Well about the mobile os . . . . I may be pleased to tell you that the symbian has not yet been grown up. . It has just reached 5th grade. . . Symbian os has a lot of troubles which i faced while i was using nokia e-series ,e65 specially. . I have a passion of having updates of the new phone details especially in its working platform and i am very much curious to find out the faulty side in the system. . . Its because every company may expose the good side only. . And i hate the miss concept. . . . . Have till now used nokia e65. . Sony ericsson w-series. . P series . . And motorola motoming. . . Interested in the features of black berry . . . will be able to explore it soon . . . Waiting . . . .
I am interested to be a Phone feature analayst. I am good at understanding features, writing specs, etc. In my current job I have been a part of product architecture, which involves understanding web user interface and writing specs for functioning of processes, etc.

comparing phones and their features is more hard work than fun for the reason that when u get paid u need to be more responsible in your analysis and this analysis needs to be made with a lill bit of tabulation and science.
Am sure this is going to be a lot of fun but then Jeremy Clarkson can also drive a car which most other people can do. So what is the difference?

I can challenge any one when it comes to exploring nokia devices and writing review about them. My friends call me a mobile freak since i spend avg 3hrs on phone daily. Currently i use e90 and 6300. I have used a couple of SE and iphone too

I am an Indian who has resided in Australia for quite some time now, and I believe this gives me a perfect oppurtunity to provide the readers of fonearena another different perpective. I am not exactly sure what this job will require but I am confidet that I will succeed in reaching your expectations as I am a very quick learner. There hav been incidents like people playing pranks wid ma weaknesses for example sometimes my mom wud say that dad has brought a new phone 4 ya in order to wake me up in the mornin n I used to become a bakra…lol…ny wez wen evr people talk about ny thing related to these little angels [mobiles] I cant jus keep quiet n interrupt em who evr they r n xplain ‘em clearly what has to b done n how it has to b done in case they hav ny problems….n cn u believe that I gt more than 30gb of mobile related stuff !!!
N now coming to the mobile I own, wts da phone doing rounds in each n every ones mouth rite now…Yep iPhone n I gt this lill angel from USA this Jan…n I own the Sony Ericsson w850i [heard of it ?] n in addition Nokia Music Xpress, w550i, N95[gift], N72 and used many more actly I dun hav enuf money to maintain these many numbers so currently only two mobiles…..I evn hav many accessories lik 4kinds of bluetooth headsets, a woofer cum charger from sony ericsson, car bluetooth n waitin for de little projector to b released…..
actly most people gift me only these things for ny ocassion coz I dun accept ny thing less than these..lol
N wt els…..people think I am crazy bt I think its ma passion to read, know n own these angels…N I use all the available features in a phone lik the gprs, wifi n stuff n alwez downloadin sum or de other from de net n curse people who cal n interrupt me whil performin these activities…..

well, definitely go for position 1 and 2. iPhone is still not available in India otherwise i would have been made my hand on that too…. ma friends call me a cell freak. i use to extract maximum from my mobile, started my hands on Nokia 5110 in 1998 costed me around 14000 with sim then 3210->3310->3315-> 2100->2300->8310->3650 ->n-gageQD-> 6600->7610->6260-> 6270-> 3250->n70->n73->n95->n82 and lots of others in between…..
at the time lots of other companies, like samsung, motorola, spice, benq and plenty of other models which i dont remember the names… the list is endless and will carry on as time come…..
wifi, gprs, bluetooth, Ir etc r like my wave lengths, lots of hardware related issues i solve just for fun for my friends n firends of friends…..
the next step i m planning for is to make my city wifi ready from my point atleast (not whole city exactly a radius of 2kms from my home) so that i can get connected to my PC within the radius with my N82.

I would like to certainly apply for this phone analyst job. I was in UK for 4 yrs and got my hands on every latest phone in the market. I owned N73, K800(Uk version of K 790), O2 orbit, blackberry 8820 and now K850i. I prefer to have a phone with all the features loaded from a music player to web applications. I used to use GPS alot on O2 orbit coz used to get the application s/w for free on the network.
Right now, iam in India and i was surfing for iphone and e90 prices and lucky enough, came across this job profile.
I would say, rather than me advising others, i always would like to know about every phone possible, and iam not shameful to say that i take reviews from others as well, to know what they look for and what they have? Maybe, i won’t have a chance to use everyphone in the market.
