Apple planning big for the 3G iPhone

Apple is gearing up for the launch of the 3G iPhone this June. The company is also in talks with music label companies, just like Nokia is doing for its Comes with Music initiative. Apple is doing all this in order to expand the ringtones and music features that are currently available on the iPhone. 3G iPhone + WiMAX

Last week, Craig Mathias wrote a piece on 802.21, a convergence standard promoted by the likes of InterDigital (IDCC) and Intel (INTC). The people at 9to5 Mac immediately saw the iPhone connection, and hatched what I thought was a highly speculative story. That Apple (AAPL) will push this yet official standard to include WiMAX into its impending 3G iPhone, based on convenient interpretation of a series of events, is the work of a very creative mind.

Apple going for 25 million 3G iPhones

The Apple iPhone is ready to be launched in June 2008 at the WWDC of Apple. Steve Jobs will be announcing the handset during his keynote address. More dope on the 3G iPhone

3G iPhone blah blah blah…you must be tired reading all these rumors that are going around the world for the 3G iphone. Every soul who knows something or the other about mobile phones and iPhones is talking about 3G iPhone. Even big shots like Walt from the WSJ are giving their speculations about when the iPhone is going to come. But now there are more evidences being found that the 3G iPhone might be coming pretty soon. The iPhone SDK 3.0 was released sometime back and some of the more inquiring kind of people have dewelled deeper into that SDK documentation and found out that the new iPhone will have SGOLD3 chipset which is 3G enabled so it proves that the iPhone which is coming in June at the WWDC 2008 has to be a 3G iPhone and thats not all this particular chip supports 5 megapixel camera and MPEG 4 video. That means that the iPhone that is going to be launched at the WWDC is going to be a multimedia powerhouse man..I am just waiting to read more about it..
