Few days after it was listed on the official website, Xolo has officially launched the A500 Club, the company’s first smartphone with dual front-facing speakers. It has a 4-inch (480×800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display based on One Glass Solution (OGS) technology, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT 6572 processor with Mali 400 MP GPU and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). Xolo Q1010 with 5-inch HD display, Android 4.2 coming soon

About 8 months after the Q1000 launch, Xolo is all set to launch the Q1010. The phone has been listed on Flipkart and has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display at 295 PPI, but the MT6589 processor has been replaced by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Sony sells off VAIO PC division, hopes to concentrate on smartphones and tablets

Yesterday there was news floating around the Internet that Steve Jobs wanted Sony VAIO laptops to run Mac OS X back in the 2000s and also there were rumors that Sony is looking to sell of their VAIO PC division. Today, Sony has officially confirmed that they are selling off their VAIO division. Back in April 2012, Sony had announced that they will be reforming their strategy and as a part of the process, they have identified three core areas  – imaging, game and mobile business.

HP India has just sent us the press invite for the launch of Slate 6 VoiceTab and  Slate 7 VoiceTab phablets in India. These were announced last month specifically for India. The February 13th event in India would see the global launch of these phablets.The HP Slate 6 VoiceTab has a 6-inch HD IPS display sporting a 1280×720 pixels resolution and the HP Slate 7 VoiceTab will have a 7-inch HD 1280×800 pixels IPS display. These devices would be powered by a quad-core processor and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). These also have dual SIM support. Google Maps app for iPhone, iPad and Android already shows you alternate routes when you request for it while navigating. Google has updated these apps to show notifications if there’s a faster route. Google maps already shows bands of red, yellow and green along your route based on traffic conditions. The new notification option now lets you reach the destination faster with dynamic rerouting so that you can avoid heavy traffic in your chosen route. HTC M8 – HTC One successor, leaked online with two cameras on the back

Things haven’t really gone HTC’s way since the rise of droids and HTC is trying to pull back things with their premium offerings. Last year, HTC announced their current flagship – HTC One to the delight of many Android lovers. HTC One defined styled in the Android smartphone market and came with an exceptional build quality and aluminum unibody. But the problem with the HTC One was their new UltraPixel technology which din’t harness the results they would have expected. HTC went on to use the same HTC One design and build for the HTC One Mini and HTC One Max. Suddenly we had three similarly built devices lurking in various price ranges.

LG launched the Optimus L1 II, an entry-level 3G smartphone with dual SIM support in India back in November last year. The LG Optimus L1 II Tri (E475) with triple SIM support has been listed on official LG Brazil website. It has similar specifications as the dual SIM variant including a 3.0-inch (320 x 240 pixels) capacitive touch screen  display, 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera with VGA video recording. It also has a dedicated SIM switch key as seen on dual SIM L Series II devices. Motorola and Flipkart partnered to launch the most expected Moto G in India earlier today starting at Rs. 12,499. The Moto G comes only with a back rear cover. You can buy the rear sells and Flip covers separately. Moto G accessories, including the Back Cover, Grip Shell and the Flip Cover has been priced on Flipkart. Motorola started selling Grip shells for Moto G in the US last month at $19.99.

Motorola has partnered with Flipkart to launch the Moto G, the company’s latest budget smartphone in India as it promised earlier this week. It was announced back in November 2013 and packs a 4.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) edge-to-edge display at 329 ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor and run on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean), upgradeable to Android 4.4 (KitKat) in a few weeks. Motorola Moto G gets priced in India at Rs. 12,499 for 8GB and Rs. 13,999 for 16GB

Flipkart and Motorola are all set to announce the budget Moto G in India. Just hours before the official announcement, Flipkart has thrown light on the pricing details which was the most expected announcement. Motorola Moto G comes in two variants – 8GB and 16GB and the pricing of 8GB is Rs. 12,499 while the 16GB version costs Rs. 13,999. Motorola Moto G is exclusively available only on Flipkart on launch day and it will be gradually available to other sellers.
