HTC has announced One A9, the company’s first One A series smartphone. It has a 5-inch full HD AMOLED, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with HTC Sense UI on top. HTC says that the unlocked version will get Android updates within 15 days once Google pushes out the update for the Nexus devices. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that improves camera’s focus, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), RAW image capture and an Ultrapixel front-facing camera. Huawei has released Android 5.1 (Lollipop) update for the Honor 4X smartphone, as it promised last month. The Android 5.1 update brings new features, functionalities and improved user experience with visual refinements along with the new Emotion UI 3.1 update. YU is expected to launch its flagship YU YUTOPIA smartphone later this month. Rahul Sharma, Co-founder and CEO of YU recently confirmed the YU YUTOPIA smartphone and the Cyanogen Inc. recently confirmed that the smartphone will come with Cyagnogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Now YU has confirmed that the smartphone will come with a metal body, as rumored earlier. It also shows with chamfered edge. The caption says R.I.P Plastic & Sandstone. True Power Lies in Metal. Lenovo has launched two new smartphones in the A series, a budget smartphone called the A1000 with 3G support and an improved version of the A6000 Plus called the A6000 Shot with a better 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing. It has also launched the K3 Note Music smartphone, which is the same K3 Note smartphone that comes with a ceramic speakers on the back that has Smart PA audio chip and Waves MaxxAudio technology that amplifies the sound and improves the audio. It has a 13-megapixel gSight rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) that would let you focus a subject in just 0.3 seconds. Lenovo today introduced Yoga 900, a convertible laptop and Yoga Home 900, an all-in-one PC has a 27-inch touchscreen and integrated battery. Both these run on the latest Windows 10 OS. The Lenovo Yoga 900 offers four usage modes (laptop, stand, tent, tablet), letting users work, watch or play in a variety of scenarios. It has watchband hinge made of more than 800 intricately woven, individual pieces, which provides a noticeably smoother rotation – allowing users to flip and fold their YOGA 900 easily into different modes, said the company. Apple introduced the iPad mini 4 along with the iPad Air Pro at its event in California last month. Now the tablet is available for purchase from online retailer Infibeam at the same price of last year’s iPad mini 3. The iPad mini 4 has the same 7.9 inch Retina Display with 2048×1536 resolution seen on last year’s iPad mini 3 with Retina Display, but this has Apple A8 chip with M8 motion co-processor.
