OPPO today announced that it will launch camera-centric ‘F series’ smartphones this year. F1 will be the first phone in the series, which will launch later this January. “The F series is rooted in a growing global demand for premium-quality mobile photography experiences, and in research that has indicated a strong consumer recognition that OPPO shoots great photos. Lenovo has announced ThinkPad X1, a modular tablet at the CES. This tablet lets you add a presenter module that includes a pico projector and HDMI port, ThinkPad keyboard, including trackpoint, which can snap onto the tablet, additional battery and even a 3D imaging module with its rear-facing Intel RealSense camera. The tablet packs a 12-inch (2160×1440 pixels) display, Intel Core m7 Processor and even has optional 4G LTE-A support. It also has a built-in kick stand like the Microsoft Surface tablets. We already brought you the unboxing and the benchmarks of the smartphone, here we have the battery test results. The LG V10 packs a 3,000mAh removable battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support and Fast Charging. It has a 5.7-inch Quad HD In-cell Touch Quantum display along with a 2.1-inch (160 x 1040 pixels) IPS Quantum display, is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Check out the test results below.

LG started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for its flagship LG G4 smartphone starting from Poland back in October. Now the Korean giant has started rolling out (Via) Android Marshmallow update for the LG G3 smartphone starting from Poland. It is currently available only via PC Suite, and the OTA update is expected soon. The smartphone got the official CM13 nightly builds based on Android 6.0 last month. Google will switch to OpenJDK from Oracle’s Java APIs in Android N

Google has confirmed that it is biding adieu to Oracle’s proprietary Java application programming interfaces (APIs) for its next iteration of Android.
