Xiaomi Mi TV 3 70-inch

The last week of 2015, Xiaomi announced a new Mi TV 3 with a massive 70-inch 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) display from Sharp. It introduced the 60-inch Mi TV 3 with a 11.6mm metal frame back in October, the new 70-inch version has a slightly thicker 12.9mm aluminum alloy frame and it is 38.6mm at its thickest.

It comes with speaker that has aluminum build and 6 speakers Soundbar with two dome tweeters and four 2.5-inch woofers. It uses a single Mi Cable to connect to the soundbar that has all the ports and also the motherboard.

The new 70-inch Mi TV 3 is priced at 9,999 Yuan ($1540 / Rs. 1,02,230 approx.), twice the amount of the 60-inch version. It will go on sale in China soon.

Ulefone, one of the popular smartphone makers in China this week introduced Ulefone Power, its latest smartphone with a massive 6050mAh battery. It is 9.5mm thick and weighs just 190 grams, even though it packs a huge battery and also has a metal frame and a abrasion-proof back cover. This also comes with a 9V/2~3A quick charger that can charge the phone fully in 90 to 120 minutes, according to the company. Asus launched the Zenfone Go, a budget smartphone in India back in September. This week company launched a smaller variant called Zenfone Go 4.5 with a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen and 1GB of RAM. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 SoC, has 3G support and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), similar to the original Zenfone Go, but this has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.

The Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 comes in Black color in India and is priced at Rs. 5,299. It is exclusively available from Flipkart.

Couple of weeks back, OnePlus introduced the OnePlus X Champagne Edition, and this week it launched the variant of the OnePlus X in India as well. Other than a different color, all the specifications are similar to the Onyx OnePlus X, including a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU, Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), 8-megapixel front-facing camera, hybrid SIM slot, 4G LTE connectivity and a 2525mAh built-in battery.oneplus-x-champagne-

The OnePlus X Champagne Edition is also exclusive to Amazon.in, which can be purchased with an invite (Existing invites for the OnePlus X can be used) at the same price of Rs. 16,999.

LG had already announced its plans to launch Spirit LTE and G4 Stylus 4G smartphones with VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) and VoWiFi (Voice Over Wi-Fi) support in India in partnership with Reliance Retail. This week, it launched the Spirit 4G LTE (LG-442) smartphone in the country. The company said that the new VoLTE and VoWiFi features will enable faster transmission of data and voice.

The LG Spirit 4G comes in Black and Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 11,900 in India, while the MRP of the smartphone is Rs. 13,000. The smartphone will be available through 150,000 Reliance Retail outlets across India.

The firm also announced that it will unveil a new Tone Infinim 2016 (HBS-910) Bluetooth Stereo headset at the CES 2016 next week. The new Tone Infinim will come with an enhanced slim and lightweight design. The new premium Bluetooth stereo headset has been developed in collaboration with Harman/Kardon, similar to the first Tone Infinim.

The LG Tone & Talk feature that can read SMS or messages from SNS with a press of a button. You can also activate an alarm on your phone from the headset when both are connected. The LG Tone Infinim 2016 headset comes in Black, White and Pink colors. It will be launched globally starting February 2016 in the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Asia, after it launches in Korea. No word on the pricing yet.

Karbonn this week launched two budget devices in Titanium series – the Karbonn Titanium Moghul and Karbonn Titanium S205 2GB. Xolo launched the One HD and the 8X-1000i this week. The Xolo One HD has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580M SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for capturing better selfies even in low lighting conditions. It has dual SIM support, but it has only 3G connectivity and lacks 4G LTE support.Xolo One HDThe Xolo 8X-1000i is the successor of 8X-1000 that was launched last year, most of the specifications of the smartphone are similar to the 8X-1000, including a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, 1.4 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor with Mali 450 GPU, Android 4.4 (KitKat)-based HIVE UI, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Xolo One HD comes in White color and is priced at Rs. 4,777 (Amazon). The Xolo 8X-1000i comes in Black color and is priced at Rs. 6,999. It is available from online retailers, including Snapdeal.

Lava launched Iris Atom and Iris Atom 3, two new budget smartphones in the Atom series. The Iris Atom has a 4-inch WVGA screen, while the Atom 3 has a 5-inch FWVGA display. Both the smartphones are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, run on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), have a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, come with dual SIM support and have 3G connectivity. iBall officially launched the Andi 5.5H Weber smartphone. It has a small display that shows all the important data. It has a 55mAh battery that can be charged in approximately 30 minutes via USB charging cable and promises up to 7 days of battery life.

Swipe F-Band

The Swipe F-Band comes in Blue and Red colors and is priced at Rs. 1499. It will be available exclusively from Snapdeal starting from January 7th, 2016.
