It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Panasonic’s own SAIL UI. Facebook rolled out Facebook Lite version of Facebook for Android built for emerging markets back in June 2015. Today it has announced that the app has crossed 100 million monthly active users. “It’s the fastest-growing version of Facebook to reach 100 million users in under nine months,” said Facebook. The app is aimed at offering lightweight, fast, and native Facebook experience for people using typical Android phones and network connections in emerging markets. Google released Spotlight Stories 360-degree experience on YouTube for Android back in December last year. Now it has released a new original short film made by Shannon Tindle in collaboration with Evil Eye Pictures, viewable on the YouTube app on several Android devices. “On Ice” tells the story of an over-the-top, sci-fi themed ice show and its star, who suddenly finds he has competition for the spotlight from an unlikely rival. Mozilla has updated Firefox browser for Android with new features and improvements. The company has also updated its browser on the web and discontinued some of the features.
Samsung has introduced Galaxy J1 (2016) (SM-J120), it’s latest budget 4G smartphone in Russia and also Galaxy J1 mini (SM-J105), a budget 3G smartphone in Philippines and Russia (Via). The Galaxy J1 was first shown off in Dubai, while the Galaxy J1 mini surfaced in benchmarks last year. Both these phones come with dual SIM support. The Galaxy J1 (2016) also comes in 3G variant in some market.
LeEco Le 2, a possible successor of the popular Le 1s has surfaced in a new leak that shows images and specs of the phone. MyDrivers got a hold of these images that were leaked on Weibo. These images offer a glimpse of the phone from all angles.
