Twitter for Android has been updated to version 3.0 and the Twitter for iPhone gets updated to version 4.0 that brings new design and new tabs such as Home tab to view all the tweets, Connect tab to view your interactions and mentions, Discover tab to search for tweets, view stories and trends and Me tab to view your tweets, followers, following, lists, DMs and saved searches. OnLive comes to Android and iOS

Cloud gaming solution , OnLive , has finally made its way to Android and iOS. The applications for the two mobile operating systems will allow users to play their favorite console or PC game on their smartphones.

Initial reports indicate that the image quality is superior on the iOS version of the application. OnLive works by compressing and streaming the video component of the game by performing all the heavy crunching on a server in the cloud. This allows average users to play all the latest games without worrying about hardware updates. The mobile apps let users access the same games on the move and play them.

Flipboard competitor Google Currents launched on iOS and Android

Currents is the latest application out of Google for Android devices, iPads and iPhones that lets you explore online magazines and other content with the swipe of a finger.

Instagram coming soon to an Android device near you !

The extremely popular photo sharing iOS app , Instagram is finally coming to Android. In an interview with CNET , CEO Kevin Systrom mentioned that two engineers were already working on an Android port of the application.

Samsung launches White Galaxy S2 HD LTE in Korea

Samsung has launched the white version of the Galaxy S 2 LTE in Korea. This comes with a ceramic white color on both front and rear sides that would attract mainly women and youth market in Korea. GTA III coming to select Android and iOS devices on December 15th for $4.99


Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto III would be available for select new generation iOS and Android devices on December 15th for $4.99. They are celebrating 10th anniversary of their popular Game by launching it on iOS and Android. They already posted list of devices in October, now they have updated the list by adding few more devices. They would also release a new trailer during the launch. Android Ice Cream Sandwich teased on Notion Ink Adam Tablet

Notion Ink has uploaded an Image of the Notion Ink Adam tablet running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). They confirmed in September that the tablet would get the Ice Cream Sandwich update and posted last month that they started building after Google launched the Android 4.0 source code. Later they said they were expecting the Android 4.0 source code in early November but due to the delay they need extra time and said the builds here have passed the ALSA issue. Android Market clocks 10 billion app downloads, offers premium apps at $0.10

Google has announced that Android market has exceeded 10 billion app downloads. They have also posted a graph that shows the Android Market Growth. The Android Market saw 1 billion downloads in July 2010 and reached 6 billion in a year in July 2011. To celebrate this milestone they offer premium apps every day for the next 10 days at $0.10 each.
