Samsung Galaxy S3 mini with 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 announced

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S3 mini that surfaced yesterday. It has a 4.0-inch (480×800 pixels ) Super AMOLED display  and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5 Megapixel Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash, 720p video recording at the back and a VGA front-facing camera. The design of the phone and some of the features are similar to the Galaxy S Duos that was announced in August. It also has some of the unique features that were present in the Galaxy S3 including S Voice, Smart Stay, Direct Call, S Beam and Buddy photo share. CyanogenMod 10 M2 builds out now

The guys on the CyanogenMod team look to be working hard as they have released the M2 version which is for the second month. CyanogenMod has announced that they will be releasing stable version of CM10 every month. The updates have already started rolling for devices like Galaxy Nexus, galaxy S3 and S2.

LG Nexus Phone Pictures Leaked

New set of images of the LG’s next Nexus devices has surfaced on Belarusian site Onliner. Unlike the earlier shots of the LG E960, these images are clear hands-on shots. Karbonn A21 and A9+ with 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, Android 4.0 coming soon

Looks like Karbonn is on a launching spree. The Karbonn A11 that was listed online earlier this went on sale today. Now, the Karbonn A9+ is listed on Flipkart and the Karbonn A21 appears on the Karbonn site. The A9+ is the successor of the Karbonn A9 that was launched in July. The A9+ has a 4.0-inch (480 × 800 pixels) IPS display, while the A21 has a 4.5-inch (540 ×960 pixels) IPS display. Both these devices are powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor (According to Wikipedia, A9+ is powered by a Snapdragon S4 processor, but we have to wait for the official launch since any one can edit these details). Penta T-Pad WS703C 7-inch tablet with Voice calling launched for Rs. 6999

Pantel Technologies has launched T-Pad WS703C their new tablet with built-in SIM card slot for voice calling and 2G connectivity. It has a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with and is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and has WiFi and 3G support via USB Dongle for data connectivity. Kapil Sibal, Minister of HDR and Communications and Information Technology launched the tablet and 674 tablets were distributed to meritorious students of the SSLC – 2012 exam in Kerala. Samsung mobile communications head JK Shin has apparently confirmed to the Korean press that the 4-inch version of the Galaxy S III dubbed the Galaxy S III “mini” is all set to launch in Germany on October 11th.

Google Nexus 7 Android 4.1.2 OTA update starts rolling out, brings landscape mode and improvements

Google has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the Nexus 7. The Google Nexus 7 was unveiled in June came with Android 4.1.1 but it lacked landscape mode. The new Android 4.1.2 Over the Air (OTA) update is a minor update which is about 31MB. It brings landscape mode and  improvements in performance, stability and bug fixes. The LG E960 that is rumored to be the next Nexus device was spotted running on the Android 4.1.2. Samsung has announced the Galaxy Music. It has dual stereo speakers at the front for better audio and has advanced audio features such as Sound Alive & SRS. It has a 3-inch (240×320) display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is powered by a 850 MHz processor. There is a 3 Megapixel Fixed-focus camera at the back and it has a 3.5mm audio Jack and Built in FM Antenna. It has a dedicated music key to launch the music player easily. Rumor: The HTC DLX will be the first 1080p smartphone on the market

Twitter user @Football4PDA has leaked several devices in the past, such as the HTC One X+, and he’s proven to be a reliable source of information. His latest tweet says HTC is going to announce a new phone called DLX. It’s highlight feature will be a 5 inch 1080p display. Under the hood there’s supposed to be a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4, and on the back of the device there should be a 12 megapixel camera. MTS launches MTag 353 Android Smartphone for Rs. 5999

MTS has launched their new Android Smartphone MTag 353. It is powered by a 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 Processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), similar to the MTag 351, MTag 352 and MTag 281 that was launched in August.
