Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite with 7-inch IPS display, Android 4.0 announced


Huawei has announced MediaPad 7 Lite, their new tablet in the MediaPad lineup. It has metal uni-body design and comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS mult-touch display. It is powered by a  1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and comes with a 3.2 MP rear camera, 0.3MP front-facing camera. It has 3G support with cellular voice function, SMS and MMS. It is 11 mm thick and weighs 370 grams.

It has 1GB RAM, 4 GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 32GB with micro SD. It has 1080P HD video playback at 30 frames per second. The connectivity features include, 3G WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0. It has 4100 mAh battery.

It would be available in South Africa, China, Russia, Philippines and Taiwan from end-August, Indonesia and Malaysia from September 2012. It would be available in Germany in October 249 Euros (~US$314).
