LG and Google announce the Nexus 4


Google had canceled the New York Android event due to Hurricane Sandy but the hurricane could not stop them from officially announcing the devices.Google and LG have finally officially unveiled the next Nexus phone which is from LG this time round -Nexus 4. The handset has been leaked multiple times and was reportedly lost in in a bar. The Nexus 4 looks  very similar to the previous Nexus devices from the front but very different in the back.The Nexus 4 was jointly designed by LG and Google.

Google will be selling the Nexus 4 as an unlocked device with GSM/HSPA+ bands which means it would work on more than 200 network providers worldwide. Google is going to sell a 8GB version and a 16GB version on Google Play from  November 13 in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Australia. The Nexus 4 will also be available offline in Europe, Central/South Americas, Asia, CIS and the Middle East from the end of November. We are really hoping India is somewhere on that list.
