Micromax has been teasing the upcoming Canvas Doodle 2 A240 on their Facebook page for the past few days, now the smartphone has been listed on Flipkart. The Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 would have a 5.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It would come with a 12-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It would have with Dual SIM support with dual standby similar to other Micromax smartphones. Xolo teases a slim smartphone, might be Q1000S

Xolo has started teasing a upcoming smartphone on the Facebook page. The image just shows back of the smartphone that also shows how thin the smartphone is. Asus unveiled the Padfone Infinity, the third generation Padfone device back in Feburuary at the MWC 2013. It went on sale in Taiwan back in April. We brought you the unboxing of the device back in June and the benchmarks in July, here we have the complete review of the device. The Padfone Infinity has an optional Padfone dock similar to its predecessors that converts the phone into a tablet. Intex was the first company to launch an affordable Android smartphone, the Cloud X3 running on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). We have the device for unboxing and review. It is powered by the latest MediaTek MT6572 chip with Mali-400 MP GPU that has integrated Wi-Fi, FM, GPS and Bluetooth. Both the Cloud X1 and the Cloud X2 had a single-core processor. Sadly the Cloud X3 doesn’t have 3G support, but for the affordable price tag of Rs. 3790, it is acceptable. Intex has also launched the the Cloud X4 recently, which has a 3.2MP rear camera and 3G support.

SwiftKey 4.2 for Android with SwiftKey Cloud released

SwiftKey 4.2 is now available for Android phones and tablets from the Google Play Store . The SwiftKey 4 Beta was launched in July and it was updated last week with fixes and improvements. SwiftKey Cloud offers backup and sync that back up the words and phrases so that you can sync it when you move to a new device. The trending phrases feature analyses treding topics online and Twitter to automatically auto complete it as you type. TomTom Navigation with fully offline maps arrives for Android in India

Samsung aims to target the mid-aged or older demographic segments with this phone. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.9-megapixel camera. It also comes with S health, business card recognition, easy mode and more features. Google has a introduced a new feature in Google Search for Android, where users will be able to write on their screen in India’s most common language – Hindi. Handwrite has been an option that has been there for quite sometime now, but Hindi was not an option until now. Handwrite enables users to Google search by handwriting on the screen instead of using the on-screen keyboard.
