Meizu launched the MX5 smartphone running Flyme OS 4.5 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) in India back in August last year, priced at Rs. 19,999. Today the company has released Flyme OS 5.1.3 stable update based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) for the Indian users finally. Android Marshmallow adoption finally crosses 1%, Lollipop grows to 34.1%

Google is out with its Android distribution data for the month of February. Marshmallow is now finally present on 1.2% of devices, up from 0.7% since last month. The latest version of Android had debuted the distribution chart in November last year with 0.3%.

Honor, Huawei’s Smartphone e-brand today announced that it has started selling it’s latest Honor 5X smartphone in India. “Since the start of sales on Flipkart and Amazon, at 12 a.m. on February 1, Honor 5X smartphone has witnessed strong demand, like its predecessor the Honor 4X. Honor 4X units were sold out within a minute of the flash sale, and the model sold over 10 million units globally,” said the company. LeEco Le 1s receives over 5.3 lakh registrations on Flipkart in 10 days

LeEco (formerly known as Letv) launched the Le 1s smartphone in India last month at a price tag of Rs. 10,999. Flipkart today announced that it has received over 5,30,000 lakh registrations for the Le 1s smartphone within 10 days after registration opened.
