Motorola launched its One Vision smartphone in India back in June on Flipkart. Today the company has announced that the phone is available through offline retailers across India starting today, August 16th.

OPPO just announced that it will launch Reno 2 series in India on August 28th first in India. This comes after Reno 10x loss less zoom that was launched back in May featuring 10x hybrid zoom and triple rear cameras. This will feature 20x digital zoom, 5x hybrid zoom and quad rear cameras that are arranged vertically. The image also confirms Shark fin rising camera on the top, similar to the predecessor. This will likely feature AMOLED display and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Amazon India today announced that they are launching Automated Messaging Assistant in Hindi for its customers and the company says that users who prefer Hindi can now get their queries resolved in the language of their preference, without even connecting with an associate.

After the launch of Amazfit Verge Lite in India earlier this month, Huami Corporation is all set to launch the Amazfit GTR smartwatch in India soon on Flipkart. It will launch the 47mm version with Stainless Steel and Aluminium casing with a leather strap and Titanium version with a fluororubber strap. It has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 326PPI pixel density, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 5 ATM water resistance.

HTC just launched Wildfire X, the company’s latest smartphone in the Wildfire series in India. It has a 6.22-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display with 88.8% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with up to 4GB RAM, runs Android Pie, has a 12-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera for loss-less 2x optical zoom and 8x Hybrid Zoom and a 5-megapixel depth sensing camera for portrait shots. It also has an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

Update: Samsung has confirmed that the launch event will happen at Samsung Opera House, Bengaluru on August 20th. The company already started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ from Samsung Online Shop, Flipkart, Amazon.in,Paytm and Tata CLiQ starting August 8th starting at Rs. 69,999 and Rs. 79,999 respectively.

Update: August 13 — realme has posted new teaser for the realme 5 Pro that says that it will be India’s first quad camera smartphone in the segment with a 48-megapixel main camera with Sony IMX586 sensor. The realme 5 is expected to come with a 13-megapixel or a 16-megapixel primary rear camera, even though it will retain the same ultra-wide sensor, Super Macro and depth sensing portrait lens.

Update: August 13, 2019 — Xiaomi has confirmed that the phone will launch in India on Amazon.in on August 21st.
