HTC Wildfire X with 6.22-inch Waterdrop display, triple rear cameras launched in India starting at Rs. 9999


HTC just launched Wildfire X, the company’s latest smartphone in the Wildfire series in India. It has a 6.22-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display with 88.8% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with up to 4GB RAM, runs Android Pie, has a 12-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera for loss-less 2x optical zoom and 8x Hybrid Zoom and a 5-megapixel depth sensing camera for portrait shots. It also has an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

The phone has a 7.95mm slim body with 3D OPVD mirror finish that reflects light making the hyper optical patterns glitter, has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a  3300mAh battery with 10W charging via USB Type-C.  It has ‘Mybuddy’ security feature that allows users to share their real-time location, record and transmit sound/video of the surrounding in real-time. It can also help users trigger a loud alarm.

The HTC Wildfire X comes in Sapphire Blue color, and is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs Rs. 12,999. It will be available from Flipkart starting from August 22nd. Flipkart lists it for Rs. 1000 more, but it offers Rs. 1,000 off on all prepaid transactions till December 2019.

Vodafone Idea users get 0.5GB data per day for 18 months and Rs. 3,750 ( Rs. 75×50) worth cashback as coupons  via MyVodafone/MyIdea (MVA/MIA) App. Once customer recharges with Rs. 255 through MVA/MIA, Rs. 75 coupon can be redeemed. It also offers 6 months of accidental damage protection and the 1-year warranty includes complimentary pickup and drop facility.
