LG mobiles has added 6 new CDMA handsets to their handset portfolio. The handsets are named as LG 6160, LG 6210, LG 6300, LG 6400, LG 510 and LG 235.
Nokia Siemens Networks today demonstrated Time Division Duplex version of LTE using the broadband wireless access (BWA) spectrum in India. Gurdeep Singh, COO of Aircel made a video call using the test environment at the R&D facility of Nokia Siemens Networks in Bengaluru. The call was conducted with 4G mobile technology running on NSN commercial hardware.

Nokia is officially launching the N8 in India today and is holding an event in Mumbai. Those of you who had pre-ordered the device might get a call from your Nokia store asking you to pick up your shiny new N8. If you don’t get a call, make sure you call up the store and ask them about the delivery. You might have to wait for your turn to arrive.

We all know that operators in India are gearing up to launch 3G Services in India. The License Fee has been paid by the auction winners and government has allotted the 3G spectrum to the operators.Now Airtel’s website is displaying details about 3G services . No pricing or launch date info is available but it seems like material used to educate users about the benefits of 3G. Airtel has won the bid for 13 circles in India – Delhi , Mumbai , AP, Karnataka , Tamilnadu, UP West, Rajasthan, W.B, Himachal Pradesh,Bihar , Assam , North East and Jammu & Kashmir. There is also indication that Airtel might be offering HSPA speeds which translates to around 21 Mbps download speeds !
