Apple iPad mini announced with 7.9 inch display, starts from $329

At an event in USA today , Apple unveiled a lot of new products and one of the most interesting products announced was the iPad mini which packs a smaller 7.9 inch display. It is almost half as heavy as the iPad 3 and is 20% thinner.Yet Apple claims 10 hours of battery life on this tiny little tablet. As you can see in the picture above , the iPad mini is being held in one hand. It is as thin as a pencil and as heavy as a pad of paper according to Apple. The iPad mini follows the same design language as the iPhone 5 with a  glass and metal design. In terms of specs the iPad mini packs  dual-core A5 processor, 7.9 inch display with 1024x768px resolution ,  front and rear cameras. Nokia Lumia 510 with 4-inch display, 5MP camera, Windows Phone 7.5 announced in India, coming this Diwali

Nokia has announced the Lumia 510 in India. It comes with a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 800 MHz  Snapdragon S1 Processor and would come with a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera. It runs on Windows Phone 7.5 OS which is upgradable to Windows Phone 7.8 in future. Other features would be similar to the Nokia Lumia 610. It would let the users to access to social networks, which includes Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.  It also comes with 3 months unlimited Nokia Music and Mix Radio.

Apple iPhone 5 Unboxing

Presenting the first iPhone 5 unboxing in India exclusively only on FoneArena.  While the iPhone 5 is still not officially launched in India , we managed to get one over from Europe just to find out if the iPhone 5 is worth all the hype. Samsung Galaxy Note 800 Review


Here is the FoneArena review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 800 (Note 10.1). It was originally announced at MWC 2012 earlier this year, but Samsung upgraded its specs when it launched. It launched in India in August. It packs in a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) TFT display, 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor and runs on Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich) with the TouchWiz UI on top. Asus PadFone Preview

Asus unveiled the PadFone last year, but they detailed the specs only at the MWC 2012, earlier this year. Asus would finally launch the PadFone in India today. The PadFone comes with a 4.3-inch (960×540 pixels), Super AMOLED capacitive Multi touch display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. Google Nexus 7 Unboxing

I was recently in the US on a short visit and managed to pick up the Google Nexus 7 first Android Tablet to run on Android 4.1 JellyBean. Here is a quick unboxing video of the this tiny little tablet from Google & Asus which is priced at $199 (excluding tax and shipping). This 7 inch tablet has a back-lit IPS display which sports a resolution of 1280×800 pixels
