Xiaomi reduces MIUI Security app animations for low end devices

Xiaomi proprietary Android skin MIUI offers a security app that has various features including Cleaner, Speed Booster, WhatsApp Cleaner, and a lot more. The app got a major overhaul with MIUI 10, but Xiaomi baked in various animations to the Security app with MIUI 12. These animations didn’t probably work smoothly on the low-end devices, as Xiaomi has decided to ditch the animation with the new version of the Security app. Xiaomiui, a Xiaomi-focused blog, took it to Twitter to share the screenshots from the new Security app.

Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 40-inch Smart TV with bezel-less design launching in India on June 1

Xiaomi launched the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition series of smart TVs in India that includes 32-inch HD ready and 43-inch Full HD models with immersive Horizon display with minimal bezels back in September last year. Today it has confirmed the launch of new 40-inch model in the country on June 1st. The company has confirmed Horizon Display with bezel-less design and the image matches it. Redmi K40 Light Luxury Edition with Dimensity 1100, 67W fast charging surfaces in benchmarks

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand already confirmed that it will introduce new Redmi Note 10 series phones in China on May 26th. Now a new phone with the model number Xiaomi M2104K10AC has surfaced in Geekbench benchmark that reveals Dimensity 1100 SoC, 8GB of RAM and Android 11 with MIUI 12.5. This is said to be K40 Light Luxury Edition which the Redmi head Lu Weibing teased last week. Xiaomi teases new Redmi Note 10 series with VC liquid cooling, UFS 3.1 storage and RedmiBook Pro with Ryzen 5000 series for May 26

Xiaomi this week confirmed that it will introduce new Redmi Note 10 series 5G smartphones in China on May 26th. The company has been posting new teaser images and is also posting features of the phone. The company is expected to introduce several models including a Dimensity 700 base Note 10 5G model, and there are also reports of Dimensity 900 for Note 10 Pro 5G and even a top-end Dimensity 1100-powered Note 10 Pro+ / Ultra model. Xiaomi confirms Redmi Note 8 (2021) will be introduced soon

Update: Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch Redmi Note 8 (2021) for global markets soon. The new teaser shows a waterdrop notch, same as the Note 9. It also said that the global Redmi Note 8 sales have crossed 25 million. Last year in May the company said that the combined sales of Redmi Note 8 series were 30 million. Mi 30000mAh Boost Pro Power Bank goes on open sale in India for Rs. 2299

Xiaomi opened crowdfunding for its new Mi Boost Pro Power Bank 30000mAh power bank in India back in March and started shipping them to backers earlier this month. It comes with support for maximum 24W (9V-2.6A) USB Type-C input and 18W output offering fast charging. It has Polycarbonate and ABS body with anti-skid finish and comes with two USB Type-A ports with a maximum 18W output. Xiaomi India extends warranty of its products by two months if its expiring this May or June

After POCO’s announcement last week, Xiaomi India today announced that it will extend the warranty of its devices that are expiring in May or June this year by two months. Due to current situation in the country, the state government have imposed lockdown in several places, so the users of Xiaomi products are facing issues with their devices couldn’t get them serviced. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched the Redmi Watch, the company’s latest smartwatch in India this week. It was launched as Mi Watch Lite in some countries last year. This comes with a colour LCD full-touch display, built-in GPS/GLONASS support, 11 sports modes, music controls and more features. Xiaomi has announced Mi FlipBuds Pro, the company’s first flagship noise-cancelling earbuds in China. The company says that the independent noise reduction chip can cut up to 99% of background noise up to 40dB. The earbuds also supports 3 different noise reduction modes and also has dual-transparency modes. These feature advanced feed forward and feedback triple microphones, so the call are divided into three microphones for a clear calling experience. Redmi Note 10S with 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Helio G95, 6GB RAM, 5000mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 14999

Xiaomi just launched the Redmi Note 10S, the company’s latest mid-range Redmi smartphone in India as it had promised. It comes with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with up to 1100 nits brightness, 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside the 3.54mm punch-hole there is a 13-megapixel camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 with 6GB of RAM, dual layer graphite sheet and runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 out of the box, but the company says that this is the interim version and a full version with all the features including option to uninstall system apps will be added via OTA update. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 with 8720mAh battery gets certified, could be powered by Snapdragon 870

Details about the upcoming high-end Mi Pad 5 surfaced  earlier this week, now reports from China reveal that the tablet has been certified by 3C in China revealing a 4260mAh dual battery amounting to 8720mAh battery, matching with earlier rumours. Xiaomi said to be working on three high-end Android tablets with up to 120Hz WQXGA display, Snapdragon 8-series SoCs

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun recently confirmed that Xiaomi will launch new Mi Pad tablet this year, and this has also been confirmed by Xiaomi’s product director Wang Teng Thomas. Now a new XDA report says that the Xiaomi has been developing three new high-end Android tablets with code names “nabu”, “enuma”, and “elish”. These have appeared in  MIUI 12.5 system apps, and some of them showed features for these tablets. After confirming the launch of Redmi Note 10S launch on May 13th, Redmi today confirmed the launch of the first Redmi Watch in India alongside. It was launched in China last year and is also on sale as Mi Watch Lite in some markets. The teaser shows a watch with a silicone strap and a button on the right side along with the launch date. Redmi Note 10S launching in India on May 13

After teasers Redmi today confirmed the launch of Redmi Note 10S smartphone in India on May 13th. The company says that it will offer Savage Performance and Stunning Camera. It posted a teaser last week that hinted at MIUI 12.5 out of the box, 64MP rear camera, Hi-Res audio, and Blue, Gray and White colours for the phone.
