After yesterday’s announcement of 100K Smart TV sales in 3 days, Xiaomi India today announced that it has sold 2 million or 20 lakh smartphones in less than 5 days of the festive sale across platforms, thanks to ‘Diwali With Mi’ on mi.com, Great Indian Shopping Festival on Amazon and The Big Billion Days on Flipkart that offered discounts on the smartphones.
Xiaomi said that it has recorded a 10x year-on-year increase in premium smartphone sales (phones priced above Rs 20,000). The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G and Mi 11X Series, acquired most demand in the premium segment., and the Redmi Note 10S, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi 9 Series in the mid and value-segment recorded most sales.
