Following the successful launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G in India, the Chinese manufacturer has begun seeding the new MIUI V6.3.5.0 (KHIMIBL) firmware update to Redmi Note 4G handsets in India and Taiwan. Unfortunately, the handset isn’t the long-awaited update based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and is instead still based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Xiaomi announced the Redmi 2 smartphone in China last month. We already brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.21GHz per core, similar to the Lenovo A6000. It has Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400 MHz.  It has a 1GB RAM, 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Xiaomi launched the 16GB variant of the Mi 4 smartphone in India last month for Rs. 19,999, which goes on sale on Flipkart tomorrow in the first flash sale. As a surprise, the company just announced that it will be selling the 64GB variant of the smartphone in India starting from February 24th on Flipkart. It is priced at Rs. 23,999, which is Rs. 4000 costlier than the 16GB variant. It will be available only with 3G support and not with 4G LTE connectivity. Today, Xiaomi and Flipkart have announced that the first 2500 Flipkart First subscribers who register to buy the Mi 4, will get the smartphone added to their cart automatically when it goes on sale on February 10th. Dubbed the Mi4, it is the successor to the very popular and usually sold out Mi3 handset that was launched in India earlier last year. Xiaomi just launched the Mi 4 smartphone in India, as expected. It was announced back in July last year, packs a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with 441 PPI, based one-glass solution (OGS), is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on MIUI 6 on top of Android 4.4 (KitKat). Xiaomi launched the Mi 3 smartphone in India back in July. It temporarily discontinued the smartphone in August, but it brought back the smartphone during Diwali in limited quantities for those who tried to buy the smartphone and failed earlier. When everyone thought the Mi 3 would not be available anymore in India since it permanently discontinued the smartphone, it is bringing back the Mi 3 for the last time on January 26th. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G went on sale in India last month for Rs. 9.999. We brought you the battery test results of the smartphone recently, here are the benchmarks. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8228) processor clocked at 1.59 GHz per core and has Adreno 305 GPU, similar to the Redmi 1S. It has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, 2GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with MIUI v5 on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below.
