Xiaomi launched the Mi Router 3C, a budget router in India back in May this year for Rs. 1199. During festive sales it offered discount on the router, now it has announced a Rs.200 temporary price cut for it, so you can get it for Rs. 999 across Mi.com, Flipkart and Amazon.in. This limited period price cut is only till November 16th, Wednesday.

Xiaomi shipped record 9.2 million smartphones in Q3 2017 in India

Xiaomi India today announced that it has shipped over 9.2 million smartphones in the country in the third quarter of 2017 for the first time. It shipped 100,000 smartphones per quarter in 2014, crossed the 1 million mark in Q3 2015, 3 million in Q3  2017, and now is has cross 9 million units for the first time in Q3 2017, said Manu Jain, Group Vice President and Managing Director of Xiaomi India . Xiaomi launched the Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite smartphones in India last week. The phones went on sale in the country today exclusively on Amazon.in as well as Mi.com today. Xiaomi smartphone shipments cross 70 million in 2017, beats target

Xiaomi is growing at a phase that no one would have imagined. The company has sold over 10 Million units in October 2017 for the second month in a row. The total shipments of the company now crossed over 70 Million units for the first ten months of this year, thus surpassing the target set for 2017, said Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s founder, and CEO.

Earlier today Xiaomi officially announced MIUI 9 Global ROM along with Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite in an event in India. The company announced that MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM will start hitting Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2 and Redmi Note 4 starting tomorrow. A few days ago, we reported that company started testing MIUI 9 Stable Nightly update for Mi Max 2, and this evening Xiaomi started rolling out MIUI 9 Global Stable update to Redmi Note 4 (Qualcomm variant).
