Xiaomi introduced the Mi Band 3 along with the Mi 8 in China back in May, and the fitness tracker when on sale on June 5th. The company already announced that it has sold 1 million units of the Mi Band 3 in just 17 days. Today the company has announced that the sales have now crossed 5 million units globally in just 3 months of launch. Xiaomi Redmi Y2 MIUI 10 Stable update starts rolling out

Xiaomi launched Redmi Y2 running MIUI 9.5 based on Android Oreo back in June, in the same event company also announced MIUI 10. Xiaomi started rolling out MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM in mid-June but said that stable roll out will start in September. MIUI Launcher gets Hidden Apps feature, here’s how to enable it

Xiaomi’s MIUI is well-known for the customizations it offers, despite being user-friendly and customizable people have some complaints with MIUI such as Notification Shade and MIUI Launcher. Xiaomi tried fixing the notification shade with MIUI 9 notification shade and further improved it with MIUI 10 notification shade but MIUI Launcher didn’t get much improvement with new MIUI versions. At first glance, MIUI launcher seems to have taken inspiration from iOS launcher and it still lacks an App Drawer. Also, MIUI launcher doesn’t have the capability of hiding apps on the homepage which some other Android skins have since 2012. POCO F1: Now you can unlock bootloader within 3 days, Asphalt 9 issue fixed, low audio issue fix coming in next OTA update

Xiaomi devices are well-known for the awesome custom ROM support, thanks to the developer community. Unlocked bootloader is required to flash custom ROM on devices, and whether a user should unlock the bootloader of devices or not seems a never-ending debate. Resellers on global shopping portal used to take advantage of bootloader unlocking policies of some OEMs to install bloatware and modify software before shipping devices. As a resolution, Xiaomi introduced a wait time of 72 hours (3 days) to unlock the bootloader, which was recently increased to 360 hours (15 days). An all new sub brand by Xiaomi, the POCO is aimed at giving you all out performance and all the other features you expect from a high end phone, at a very affordable price. Yes, we’ve heard that before. Heck the entire ‘Flagship Killer’ category stemmed from providing high end internals at a relatively low cost price. Now, before we do a deep down on the phone, let me just put it out there. Xiaomi Redmi 6 series smartphones will launch exclusively on Amazon India on September 5

Xiaomi already confirmed that it will launch three new smartphones in the Redmi 6 series in India on September 5th. Now Amazon.in has confirmed that the phones will be available exclusively with them. The teaser shows only two phones, one with a notch and the other without it, so the third phone could be exclusive to Flipkart.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Red Edition launched in India

Xiaomi has launched the Red color variant of the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India, as expected. This joins the Black, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold variants of the smartphone that were launched in the country earlier this year. The Red version has Black finish on the front and Red finish on the back and the sides.

Indian wearables shipments cross 1 million in Q2 2018, Xiaomi leads with 45.8% share: IDC
