Xiaomi Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone will be sold in India via Flipkart, confirms teaser ahead of May 27 launch

Mi File Explorer gets Dark Mode with latest update

Xiaomi introduced system-wide dark mode on MIUI Global ROM couple of months ago but some of Xiaomi’s in-house apps such as Mi Drop, Mi Music, and Downloads still lack dark mode. Xiaomi has recently added dark mode to its popular Mi File Manager app, the app is not exclusive to MIUI users and can be downloaded from Play Store. Xiaomi posts 27.2% YoY increase in revenue in Q1 2019, smartphone revenue up 16.2% YoY

Xiaomi has reported its earning for the first quarter (Q1 2019) that ended March 31, 2019. It has reported revenue of 43.8 billion yuan (US$ 6.33 billion) for Q1 2019, an increase of 27.2% YoY, among which international revenue grew 34.7% year-on-year to 16.8 billion yuan. Net profit for the quarter was approximately 3.2 billion yuan. Adjusted net profit (Non-IFRS Measure) was 2.1 billion yuan, up 22.4% YoY and 12.3% QoQ. Xiaomi to replace Redmi Note 7 with Redmi Note 7S in India

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7S smartphone with 48MP rear camera yesterday in India as the company’s latest addition in the popular Note series lineup. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S with 6.3-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 660, 48MP camera launched in India starting at Rs. 10999

Xiaomi just launched the Redmi Note 7S, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone, as it had promised. It is an improved version of the Redmi Note 7 was launched in India back in February. It packs a 48-megapixel rear camera with 1/2″ Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor, f/1.8 aperture with four-in-one pixel binning to make an 12MP image with 1.6μm pixel. It has a 5-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots and also comes with AI features.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 goes on open sale in India

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 7 smartphone in India last month, and the phone went on sale for the first time starting April 29th through Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting at Rs. 7999. It was sold every Monday after that, now the phone is available through open sale in the country in less than one month of launch. The Redmi Y3 that was launched alongside is yet to go on open sale, but the Redmi Note 7 went on open sale last month.

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just announced that its ‘flagship killer’ Redmi K20 will be introduced at an event in Beijing, China on May 28th. The company already said that it will be the Flagship Killer, will be powered by Snapdragon 855, feature a 48-megapixel rear camera and a pop-up front camera. The company already posted a teaser with a pop-up front camera that has been tested 300,000 times and a no-notch display. The new image says ‘Whatever it takes’ and ‘flagship killer’.
