Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro, successor of the Redmi Note Note 5 Pro in India last month starting at Rs. 13999, and it went on sale starting from November 23rd evey week on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores. Xiaomi smartphone with 48MP camera sensor, Snapdragon 675 to arrive in January, could use Sony IMX586 sensor

Xiaomi President Lin Bin has posted an image of a Xiaomi phone with 48-megapixel camera on weibo. This shows a large sensor along with dual LED flash. It also shows a new design and possibly a pop-up front camera offering an all-screen display like the Vivo NEX. He also shared that the phone will be released in January 2019. Xiaomi Mi A1 Android 9.0 Pie beta testing begins [Update: Download Link]

Update: We have managed to get the download link for the Mi A1 Android Pie beta update which is about 1.3GB in size. Since this is still in beta stage, there might be bugs. It is recommended to backup before updating. We have flashed it successfully with TWRP Recovery.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5A Android 8.1 Oreo beta update starts rolling out [Download Link]

Xiaomi announced the list of phones eligible for Oreo and Pie updates last month and said that devices are supposed to get Android Pie/Oreo update before the end of this year. Get Android 9.0 Pie on Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro with Pixel Experience Extended ROM

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is amongst best-selling devices launched this year, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Nougat despite launching in February and later in June rolled out Android Oreo update. If we go by the Android update history of Redmi devices then it won’t be wrong to assume that device will not get any Android update as last year’s bestseller Redmi Note 4 is still on Android Nougat 7.0 but users can still enjoy the latest Android on their Redmi Note 5 Pro, thanks to the awesome custom ROM developers community. Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Android 9.0 Pie stable update starts rolling out

Xiaomi launched the second-generation Android One devices – Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite back in July at an event in Spain. At the event, Xiaomi and Google promised Android version updates along with monthly security patch updates as the device was launched under the Android One program. Xiaomi started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) to Mi A2 last week in India and now it has started rolling out Android 9.0 to Mi A2 Lite in some regions after announcing Android Pie Beta testers recruitment couple of weeks ago. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro with 6.26-inch 19:9 FHD+ display, dual front and rear cameras launched in India starting at Rs. 13999

Xiaomi just launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro, successor of the Redmi Note Note 5 Pro in India, as it had promised. The major change is the 6.26-inch Full HD+ screen with a notch, 19:9 aspect ratio and dual front cameras, in addition to dual rear cameras, and the primary 12-megapixel camera now has f/1.9 aperture and  1.4μm pixel size for better low-light images. Both these have AI features including AI portrait and AI scene recognition. Xiaomi reports 49.1% YoY increase in revenue in Q3 2018, smartphone revenue up 36.1% YoY

Xiaomi this week reported its earning for the third quarter (Q3 2018) that ended September 30, 2018. It reported revenue of 50.846 billion yuan (US$($7.3 billion), an increase of 49.1% year-on-year, among which international revenue grew 112.7% year-on-year to 22.3 billion yuan, accounting for 43.9% of total revenue. Net profit for the third quarter was 2.481 billion yuan ($357 million) for the quarter. Adjusted profit (Non-IFRS Measure) increased was 2.885 billion yuan, up 17.3% YoY and up 36.3% QoQ. Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro and Redmi 5 MIUI 10 Stable OTA update starts rolling out [Download link]

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 Pro in India back in September running MIUI 9, now it has started receving MIUI 10 Stable update. The update is also available for the Redmi 5 smartphone that was launched earlier this year running MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat). Xiaomi creates Guinness World Record by opening over 500 Mi Stores simultaneously, plans to open 5000+ Mi Stores by the end of 2019

After creating Guinness World Record by building the largest light mosaic (logo) in the world, back in September Xiaomi today announced that it has created a new Guinness World Record by inaugurating over 500 Mi Stores simultaneously at the exact same time. Located across 14 states, all new Mi Stores were collectively inaugurated at sharp 12 pm on 29 October, 2018, marking a first of its kind, unique achievement for the brand.
