Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched POCO F1 almost a year ago in India. The smartphone was a great value for money but had a few issues, such as screen bleeding but the company was very responsive towards addressing the issues. Users have been complaining about the touch issues on POCO F1, the company released various OTA updates to fix the issue but it seems like the issue is still not fixed. MIUI update brings shortcut to switch SIM card for data connectivity

Xiaomi’s MIUI is amongst the most popular android skins with more than 300 million worldwide users. MIUI is a heavy skin on top of Android, but what sets it apart from other Android skins is its feature richness and customizations. Xiaomi used to roll out MIUI Global Beta ROM update biweekly, including closed beta on every Tuesday and public beta on every Friday but last month, the company announced its plan to terminate MIUI Global Beta ROM program and said that Global Beta ROM updates will not be released after 1 July. Xiaomi Mi Super Bass Wireless Headphones launching in India on July 15, Mi Water TDS Tester crowdfunding opens July 23

Xiaomi already teased new product launches including new Bluetooth headphones on mi.com for its 5th Mi anniversary sale. Today the company has confirmed that it will launch Mi Super Bass Wireless Headphones on Amazon.in during Prime Day sale and Mi.com on July 15th. It will also open crowdfunding for Mi Water TDS Tester on July 23rd. Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 32-inch and 43-inch (2018) Android 9.0 (Pie) early access program registrations open

Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4A 32-inch HD ready and 43-inch Full HD models last year running Patchwall based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). These TVs didn’t get any updates, even months after the company released new Android TV models running Android Oreo-based Patchwall. Today the company has started early access program to offer Android 9.0 (Pie) Android TV update directly to these users, skipping Android Oreo. Xiaomi also adds that it is the first TV brand in the country to roll out Android 9 update for its Mi TVs.

Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro pre-booking begins July 12 in India before launch

Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones in India on July 17th. Ahead of the launch, the company today announced these will go on pre-launch Alpha Sale that will allow the buyers pre-book the smartphone prior its launch next week. Realme CEO takes a jab at Redmi 7A, calls Realme C2 ‘Desh ka Real Choice’

Just after the Redmi 7A launch in the country, Realme India CEO took it to Twitter to compare Realme C2 with ‘Smartphone A’ in a couple of tweets and referred to Realme C2 as ‘Desh ka Real Choice’ which was launched back in April. The specifications of the ‘Smartphone A’ in Madhav’s tweets resemble that of Redmi 7A, which Xiaomi is promoting as ‘Smart Desh ka Smartphone’. Redmi 7A with 5.45-inch HD+ display, Snapdragon 439, splash-resistant body launching in India on July 4 on Flipkart [Update: 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor]

Update: July 3, 2019 — A day before the launch, the company has confirmed that the Indian version of the Redmi 7A will feature 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor with 1.25um pixel size and AI features, same as the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 7 and the Mi A2. The Chinese Redmi 7A has a 13-megapixel sensor with 1.12um pixel size.

Xiaomi Mi CC9 and CC9e with AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, 32MP front camera, in-display fingerprint sensor announced

Xiaomi just announced Mi CC9 and CC9e smartphones in the new CC series in China, as it had promised. Both the phones feature AMOLED display from Samsung, seventh gen in-display fingerprint scanner, 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 32-megapixel front camera sensor from Samsung that merges four pixels to form large 1.6μm pixels for better low-light images and AI beautify mode.

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 16,999, respectively earlier this year. About four months after the launch, the company has launched the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version at Rs. 15,999, which will be available from mi.com and Flipkart, Mi.com starting from tomorrow, July 3rd at 12 noon. Xiaomi starts crowdfunding for Mi Truck Builder in India for Rs. 1,199

Last week, Xiaomi announced that it will launch 5 products as a part of its 5th-anniversary celebration in India. Now the company has started crowdfunding for Mi Truck Builder toy in India. It comes with a step-by-step instruction manual making it easier for kids to build the truck.
