Vivo APEX 2019 with Snapdragon 855, 12GB RAM, 5G, full-screen fingerprint, unibody 3D design without ports or buttons announced

Vivo just announced APEX 2019, the company’s latest concept phone in China, as it had promised. This doesn’t have any ports or buttons, similar to the Meizu Zero that was introduced yesterday, but this has a curved glass design instead of the ceramic back on the Meizu phone. It doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack, repleaces physical buttons with pressure-sensitive power and volume buttons and also doesn’t have an USB port, instead it relies on a magnetic port that connects to the bottom part of the back cover for charging and data transfer.

Vivo Y89 with 6.26-inch FHD+ 19:9 display, dual rear cameras, 16MP front camera announced

Vivo has announced Y89, the company’s latest smartphone in the Y series in China. It has similar specifications as last year’s Z1 Lite that includes a 6.26-inch FHD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with a notch, Snapdragon 626 with 4GB RAM, Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.0, 16-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera to capture the depth information for portrait shots, 16-megapixel front camera with A.I face beauty, face unlock, metal and glass design, dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3260mAh battery. Vivo APEX 2019 bezel-less curved screen smartphone to be introduced on January 24

Vivo introduced its APEX FullView Concept Smartphone with 98% screen-to-body ratio and an in-display fingerprint scanner at the MWC in February last year. Later it introduced the phone as NEX and the new NEX Dual Screen with a new design was unveiled last month. Today the company posted a teaser for APEX 2019 bezel-less smartphone ahead of announcement on January 24th. This shows a more curved design without the front camera or even the buttons on the sides. Vivo has announced Y91, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘Y series’ in India. It has a 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio Halo FullView display, is powered by Helio P22 Octa-Core 12nm SoC, has 2GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.5, comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for blur in portraits, as well as an 8-megapixel front camera with support for face unlock.

Vivo NEX gets a price cut in India, now available for Rs. 39990

Vivo launched its NEX smartphone in India back in July for Rs. 44,990. Today it has received a Rs. 5000 price cut and is available for Rs. 39,990 from offline reatilers and Amazon.in.

Vivo to setup second manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh with Rs. 4000 crore investment

Vivo has announced to launch their second manufacturing facility in India. The company has acquired additional 169-acre of land in the Yamuna Expressway region in Uttar Pradesh with an estimated investment of Rs. 4000 crore. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath welcomed the initiative and congratulated Vivo for the upcoming facility. Vivo NEX dual screen smartphone with Snapdragon 845, 10GB RAM, TOF 3D camera, in-display fingerprint sensor announced

Vivo just introduced its flagship NEX series smartphone with dual displays as it had promised. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with 91.63% screen-to-body ratio and a secondary display on the back with 5.49-inch FHD resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 with 10GB of RAM and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with Funtouch OS 4.5 on top. It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, 4-axis OIS, similar to the first-gen NEX, but this uses a 2-megapixel secondary night vision camera with 2.9μm pixel size, as well as additional TOF 3D Sensing camera for high-precision 3D depth information using 300,000 infrared points. Vivo V11 Pro Supernova Red edition launched in India

Vivo launched the V11 Pro smartphone in India back in September in Starry Night Black and Dazzling Gold colors. Now it has launched a new Supernova Red color variant of the smartphone with a gradient finish. Other specifications are same the original V11 Pro, including a 6.41-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 660 AIE with 6GB of RAM,  12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture along with a 5-megapixel camera for portrait shots, 25-megapixel front camera, in-display fingerprint sensor, dedicated Dual SIM and microSD card slots and a 3,400mAh battery with Dual-Engine 18W fast charging.
