Vivo NEX 3 with 6.89-inch FHD+ AMOLED waterfall screen, Snapdragon 855 Plus, up to 12GB RAM, 64MP triple rear cameras announced

Vivo just announced the NEX 3 and NEX 3 5G, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in China, as it had promised. It has a special custom-made 6.89-inch waterfall screen with the left and right sides curved close to 90 degrees, with a 99.6% ultra-high screen ratio. The company said that R&D investment of this waterfall screen has exceeded 200 million (probably yuan). It comes preapplied with a specially customized protector for the screen. In addition, NEX 3 is also equipped with a 16-megapixel pop-up camera that can lift in 0.65 seconds and features an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus with up to 12GB RAM and Vapor Chamber cooling to reduce the temperature by up to 10 degrees.

Vivo Z1x Review

Vivo launched the Z1x, the company’s latest smartphone in the Z series last week, soon after the launch of Z1 Pro in India in July. Vivo Z1x with 6.38-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 712, triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint sensor launched in India starting at Rs. 16990

Vivo just launched the Z1x, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in India as it had announced. It has a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 90% screen-to-body ratio and SCHOTT Xensation Glass protection, which the company says is 8.15% better than the competition. The phone also has DC dimming in the form of low brightness anti-flicker. It is powered by Snapdragon 712 with 6GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with Funtouch OS 9.1, features a 48-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots. There is a 32-megapixel camera on the front.

Vivo NEX 3 5G with 6.89-inch FHD+ AMOLED waterfall screen, Snapdragon 855 Plus, 12GB RAM, 64MP triple rear cameras to be announced on September 16

After teasers, Vivo has announced that it will introduce Vivo NEX 3 5G, the company’s next-generation NEX series smartphone with 5G support and new waterfall display on September 16th in Shanghai, China. Vivo general manager already posted a teaser showing off the phone’s ‘waterfall screen’ which is curved on all the sides offering 99.6% screen-to-body ratio, The phone as been certified by TENAA with the model number V1924T revealing the specifications, including Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC combined with Qualcomm’s X50 modem for 5G connectivity and up to 12GB RAM.

Vivo Z1X with in-display fingerprint scanner, triple rear cameras launching in India on September 6

After the launch of Z1Pro last month, Vivo just announced that it will launch Z1x, another mid-range smartphone in India on September 6th on Flipkart. The official teaser image confirms in-display fingerprint scanner, so it should have an AMOLED screen, and the image shows a waterdrop notch, compared to punch hold screen on the Z1Pro. The image also confirms triple rear cameras and a gradient back.

These have the same 6.41-inch Full HD+  water drop notch Super AMOLED screen with 91.7% screen-to-body ratio and run Android Pie with Funtouch OS , but these powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus with liquid cooling along with superconducting carbon fiber and temperature equalizing plate for improved heat dissipation, up to 12GB of RAM, have a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with Sony IMX582 sensor, secondary 13-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel sensor for portrait shots. Vivo NEX 3 5G smartphone with no-notch ‘waterfall screen’ teased in official image

After posting sketches of the upcoming NEX smartphone, Vivo general manager has now posted the first official image of the phone that shows the phone’s ‘waterfall screen’ which is curved on the sides. This shows minimal bezels and no-notch screen, so it is not clear if the phone has a pop-up front camera since under display camera tech might not be ready yet.
