Vivo Z5x with punch-hole display, up to 8GB RAM, triple rear cameras to be announced on May 24

Vivo has announced that it will introduce Z5x, a new smartphone in the Z series in China on May 24th. The company has also shared an image of the phone that shows a punch-hole display, which will likely be LCD since this has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone features triple rear cameras that should include an ultra-wide lens.

Vivo Y3 with 6.35-inch Halo FullView display, AI triple rear cameras, 5000mAh battery announced

Vivo has introduced Y3, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘Y Series’ in China. It has similar specifications as the Vivo Y17 that was launched in India last month that includes a 6.35-inch Halo FullView Display with a 19.3:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 89%, Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P35 12nm SoC with 4GB of RAM, Android Pie with Funtouch OS, Ultra Game Mode, 13-megapixel Main Camera, 8-megapixel 120° Super Wide-Angle Camera, and 2-megapixel Depth Camera, but this has a 16-megapixel front camera.

Vivo Y95 gets another price cut in India, now available for Rs. 13990

Vivo Y95 smartphone was launched by Vivo in India in November 2018 for a price of Rs.16,990. After the launch, the smartphone received two price cuts and was selling for Rs. 14,990. Today, Vivo Y95 has received yet another price cut, and is now available at Rs.13,990.

Vivo Y91 and Y91i 32GB get a price cut in India, now available starting at Rs. 7990

Vivo today announced price cuts for two of its ‘Y Series’ phones – Y91 and Y91i. The Vivo Y91 which was launched earlier this January for Rs. 10990 was available for Rs. 9990 recently, after the new price cut it is available for Rs. 8990. The Vivo Y91i 32GB version which was launched in March for Rs. 8490 is now available for Rs. 7990, after the price.

Vivo V15 with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, 6GB RAM, 32MP pop-up front camera, triple rear cameras launched in India for Rs. 23990

After the launch of V15 Pro last month, Vivo has launched the V15 after it was announced earlier this month.  It has a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 90.95% screen-to-body ratio instead of Super AMOLED display on the V15 Pro, and is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, compared to Snapdragon 675. It has the same 32-megapixel pop-up front camera, but this features a 12-megapixel dual-pixel rear camera, instead of quad-pixel units. The 5-megapixel depth sensor for portraits and an 8-megapixel 120-degree wide-angle cameras are retained. Vivo V15 Pro Camera Samples

Vivo launched its  V15 Pro smartphone in India last month for Rs. 28990. It has triple rear cameras that includes a 48-megapixel  1/2.25″ main sensor (12MP Effective Pixel) with f/1.8 aperture, which should be ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor, 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 8-megapixel AI 120-degree Super wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. Similar to most of the phones with 48MP sensor, this uses ‘four-in-one pixel’ technology to combine four adjacent pixels into a single 1.6μm large pixel. It has a 32-megapixel pop-up front camera with Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
