Sony started rolling out Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the Xperia T2 Ultra (v19.1.A.0.473) and its dual SIM variant T2 Ultra Dual (19.1.C.0.116) from yesterday. The new update brings option to move apps to the microSD card in addition to new features. This was not mentioned in the official changelog from Sony.

Sony has started rolling out Android KitKat 4.4.2 update to Xperia T2 Ultra and T2 Ultra Dual. The update will be released over the coming weeks in markets across the globe. Both the devices were launched earlier this year with Android Jelly Bean 4.3.

Google has taken down multiple Google Play Edition devices from the Play Store. Devices like Sony Xperia Z Ultra, LG G Pad 8.3 and HTC One (M7) were taken down from the device section of the Play Store. These handsets along with Samsung Galaxy S4 were out of inventory for some time before they were officially taken down today.

Sony Mobile has just announced the Xperia C3, the company latest mid-range handset in the Xperia series. As expected, it is a selfie-focused smartphone that comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens along with a soft LED flash. It also has self timer, Superior Auto mode, beatification, Portrait Retouch, option to capture images by simply double tapping the back cover, Smile Shutter, and more new features. Sony announced the Sony Xperia Z2 at MWC 2014 earlier this year and it wasn’t much of an update when compared to the Sony Xperia Z1. The Sony Xperia Z2 comes with an almost similar body while the internals have been beefed up to match the latest generation SoC. Sony has decided to stick with the similar 20.7MP camera module on the Xperia Z2 that is currently found in the Xperia Z1 and the Xperia Z1 Compact.
