Samsung just announced the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones with new dual aperture camera, Super slo-mo and several features at its Unpacked 2018 event at the MWC 2018. The company has already revealed the price of the phone in US, UK and Europe markets and has also started taking pre-orders in several markets. Samsung just announced the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones with new dual aperture camera at its Unpacked 2018 event at the MWC 2018. Even though the company did not announce the price at the event and said that it will be available starting March 16th, price of the phones are now out for several markets. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ with Quad HD+ Infinity display, dual aperture camera announced

Samsung just announced Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones at its Unpacked 2018 event at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona, as it had promised. The main highlight of the smartphones is the variable aperture cameras. The S9 has a 12-megapixel rear camera with variable aperture tech that uses f/1.5 aperture for night shots for a brighter picture and f/2.4 aperture for normal shots in daytime. The S9+ has a secondary 12MP Telephoto lens for live focus for bokeh effect with background blur. Samsung starts building new EUV semiconductor line, to invest $6 billion by 2020

Samsung back in September announced that it is working on 7LPP (Low Power Plus) with EUV (extreme ultra violet) lithography technology for smartphones that is targeted for initial production in the second half of 2018. Today, as expected, the company has announced that it is building new EUV (extreme ultraviolet) line in Hwaseong, Korea. Opera Max data-savings app renamed as Samsung Max, available only for Samsung smartphones

Opera introduced Opera Max, data savings app in the U.S. and Europe in 2014, which was launched in India in 2015. In the same year Samsung introduced Galaxy J2 with Ultra Data Saving mode powered by Opera Max and started adding the feature in other budget and mid-range smartphones. Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ launch are just two days away, and we almost have every detail including specifications about the flagships that is there and today we also have the pricing as well. Qualcomm’s future Snapdragon 5G mobile chipsets to use Samsung’s 7nm LPP EUV process technology

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC that will power this year’s flagship smartphones is manufactured on second generation 10LPP process from Samsung. Today Samsung and Qualcomm has expanded its foundry partnership for on EUV process technology. With this partnership, Qualcomm has announced that future Snapdragon 5G mobile chipsets will use Samsung’s 7nm LPP EUV process technology. Samsung introduces world’s largest capacity 30.72TB SSD for enterprise systems

Samsung has introduced world’s largest 30.72 terabyte (TB) solid state drive (SSD), PM1643 for use in enterprise storage systems. It comes in a 2.5-inch form factor, and leverages Samsung’s latest V-NAND technology with 64-layer, 3-bit 512-gigabit (Gb) chips. Samsung partners with Petur Jonsson for new ‘Over the Horizon’ ringtone for the Galaxy S9

Samsung made ‘Over the Horizon’ as default tone on its Galaxy device back in 2011. Each generation of Samsung’s Galaxy devices comes pre-loaded with a fresh new take on Samsung’s signature “Over the Horizon”, six-note groove. Today it has announced that it has teamed up with Icelandic composer Pétur Jónsson to compose a new “Over the Horizon” tune for the next generation flagships.
