Sony Mobile has released Flash tool for Xperia Smartphones. This would let you flash a standard Sony software on your Xperia smartphone with an unlocked boot loader. This software is available for Windows and automatically identifies the phone model and displays the available software to be flashed.

The international variant of the Droid DNA and HTC Butterfly J have been announced today for the global audience. The phone which will be called the HTC Butterfly is one of the first devices with a ful HD display. The 5″ screen with 1080p resolution results in a mind blowing pixel density of 440ppi.

Speaking on the Chinese social network, Weibo, Huawei Senior Vice President Yu Chengdong confirmed that Huawei is working on a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 competitor. The phone which has been rumored for a while is expected to ship with an absolutely massive 6.1 inch full HD display. The phone has been rumored to be called the Ascend Mate.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5100) has got a price cut and is now available for Rs. 25900 from online retailer Saholic. It was announced at MWC 2012 earlier this year and launched in India in July for Rs. 32,900. This is definitely a huge price cut, that would let more customers buy the tablet. The Nexus program from Google has been transforming from a developer focused one to a completely consumer focused one. The message is very clear, Google wants to use its services(Google Play) and the best possible way to use them is by buying their Nexus devices. Starting from the Nexus One, the program has seen many phones, till the Nexus 4(See our unboxing here) a 7 inch tablet made by ASUS, the Nexus 7, but we never got to see a 10 inch one. But then, amidst “Sandy”, Google launched the first 10 inch Nexus device – The Google Nexus 10, made by Samsung. And yes, we have got it in our hands already, after a terrible launch delay. Today, Deutsche Telekom CEO Rene Obermann announced at his company’s analyst day event that T-Mobile USA will begin selling Apple products in 2013. T-Mobile also made the announcement in a press release. The carrier did not mention specific products, but Apple’s iPhone and iPad lineup are the only cellular enable devices offered by the company.
“T-Mobile USA has entered into an agreement with Apple to bring products to market together in 2013,” the release said. T-Mobile is the fourth largest carrier in the U.S., but regardless of its size, the iPhone has not been offered on that carrier to date. In addition, T-Mobile USA will also be offering LTE service for its customers in 2013.
Apple also confirmed to The Loop that it has struck a deal with T-Mobile.
Samsung Galaxy Music Duos (GT-S6012) Dual SIM phone is now available from online retailer Snapdeal in India. It was announced in October and comes with a 3-inch (240×320) display, 850 MHz processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) that is upgradable to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) in future. It has Dual SIM (GSM+GSM) support with Always On feature that automatically forwards calls from the phone number on SIM 2, even if a user is on the phone with SIM 1’s number. When we reviewed the Xperia S earlier this year, we felt that it was a new start for Sony. Continuing its tradition of good design, packing an excellent display we quite liked the Xperia S. However the pace of the mobile industry is such that it has been far out-specced since its launch. Following the lead of HTC with its One X refresh, Sony too has launched a new updated version of the Xperia S dubbed the Xperia SL.
Not much has changed in the Xperia SL externally as it retains its beautiful hardware. The screen is still quite nice while the processor has been bumped up to a Dual Core Snapdragon S3 processor clocked at 1.7Ghz compared to the 1.5Ghz processor on the Xperia S. Apple is expected to launch the iPad 4 (4th Gen) in India soon along with the iPad mini.The base 16GB WiFi only version is expected to be launched at Rs.31900.The iPad 4 was announced just under 6 months after the iPad 3’s launch which has caused a lot of disappointment amongst iPad 3 owners including myself . The main changes on the 4th gen iPad include the faster A6X processor , lightning connector and faster WiFi and LTE support. If you own a iPad 3 , you can hang on to it for a while but if you are using an iPad 2 and looking to upgrade , you can surely consider the iPad 4. Apple is just calling it the iPad with Retina Display !

Spice has announced that they plan to launch range of Android Smartphones in the Stellar Series mid-December. The company launched 3 smartphones in the stellar series, Spice Stellar (Mi-425), Stellar Horizon (Mi-500) and Spice Stellar Craze (Mi-355) earlier this year. Spice has also said that these phones would come in very strategic and aggressive price points. So we can expect a tough competition between Spice and other local OEMs like Karbonn and Micromax, since these companies have launched several affordable Android Smartphones recently. Sony has announced Xperia E and Xperia E dual, new Android Smartphones in the Xperia series. The Xperia E is the single SIM phone, while the Xperia E dual comes with dual-SIM support. These phones have a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor similar to the Xperia J. Xperia E comes with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), while the Xperia E dual would launch on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and is upgradable to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
