Motorola launched the Moto X Style, the company’s high-end smartphone in the X series earlier this month. It went on sale couple of weeks back on Flipkart starting at Rs. 29,999. We brought you the review of the Moto X Style recently, here we have the battery test results of the smartphone. It has a 3000mAh built-in battery, packs a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, is powered by a Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Check out the test results below.
Toshiba Corporation today confirmed earlier reports that it will sell CMOS image sensor business to Sony Corporation. It will help it to overhaul its unprofitable semiconductor businesses after the company shared that it overstated earnings by $1.3 billion going back to fiscal 2008-2009. Even though the company did not confirm how much the deal is worth, it is worth around 20 billion yen ($166.15 million) according to Reuters. Lenovo launched the Vibe P1m smartphone in India last week. It went on sale on Flipkart through flash sale at 3PM today. Today the company said that it sold 14,000 units of Vibe P1m smartphones in less than 10 seconds in the first flash sale. Apple has started rolling out carrier billing for iTunes and App Store in Germany with carrier O2. Customers can now link a phone number to their iTunes account and use carrier billing for purchases, as per a report from TechCrunch.

Xolo just launched BLACK 1X, its second BLACK series smartphone, as it promised last week. It packs a 5-inch 1080p display with Asahi Dragon trail Glass protection, is powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with HIVE Atlas UI on top. Xolo has promised that it will be upgradable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) in future, but no details about the time frame yet. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that lets you focus in just 0.15 seconds, LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. The Moto X Style from Motorola is the flagship product in the X series from Motorola this year. While the Moto X Play came out earlier last month, the X Style went official in India this month. It is basically a high-end smartphone that has a design that is quite similar to the Moto X Play but has much more beefed up specifications and features. We had reviewed the Moto X Play and we found that it is a really good smartphone and that it is one of the best in its price segment. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 72.5% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with EMUI 3.1 on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony or Samsung sensor, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Apple has reported revenue of $51.5 billion with a net profit of $11.1 billion in their earnings for the financial year Q4 2015 that ended September 26, 2015. Revenues were up 22% and earnings per share up 38% year-over-year. For the fiscal year 2015, Apple reported revenue of 234 billion, up 28%, and 58 billion dollars over 2014. It sold over 300 million devices in the year, including 231 million iPhones, 55 million iPads, and 21 million Macs and increased its global market share for both iPhone and Mac. In FY Q4 2015 it sold 48 million iPhones, up 22% year over year, 9.8 million iPads and 5.7 million Macs. Google in partnership with Asus has introduced a new member in its OnHub router family. Dubbed the ASUS OnHub is company’s second smart Wi-Fi router device in the OnHub series. Motorola has announced the most expected DROID Turbo 2 smartphone along with the DROID Maxx 2. The DROID Turbo 2 is an enhanced version of the Moto X Style that packs a slightly smaller 5.4-inch Quad HD AMOLED 540 ppi display. It also has Moto ShatterShield, the world’s first shatterproof display. Motorola says that the display is guaranteed not to crack or shatter for up to 4 years. It packs a Snapdragon 810 processor, runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) and is upgradable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 3760mAh battery, slightly bigger than the Moto X Style and has the same front and rear cameras. The DROID Maxx 2 is a variant of Moto X Play.
