It was announced last month and packs a 2.4-inch (320 x 240 pixels) QVGA LCD screen with numeric keypad, comes with built-in MP3 player, FM Radio, Opera mini browser, 2G (EDGE) connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0 with Slam sharing feature and a VGA rear camera without flash and a built-in torchlight. Nokia N1 launches 28 Jan in China, pre-orders tomorrow
Nokia’s return to the hardware market looks set to become official later this month as the N1 tablet will begin shipping in China on January 28th. Pre-orders for the Nokia N1, which is manufactured by Foxconn and sold under the Nokia brand, will begin tomorrow and the N1 tablet will cost 1599 RMB (equivalent to around $258 or £170). Nokia Lumia 638 with quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC and 4G LTE launched in India for Rs. 8299
Microsoft just launched the Nokia Lumia 638, the company’s most affordable 4G smartphone in India. It was originally introduced in China back in June and has a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan. It has a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera without flash and also lacks a front-facing camera. It has 1GB RAM and comes with single micro SIM support.
