It can be folded along the four rows to create an easy-to-carry stick so that it can even fit in your pocket easily. It has high-contrast keys and a fold-out stand to support smartphones and even tablets up to 10-inches. LG G Pad II 10.1 with WUXGA display, Snapdragon 800 SoC, 4G LTE announced

LG has announced LG G Pad II 10.1, the company’s latest Android tablet and the successor of last year’s G Pad 10.1 ahead of IFA 2015. It has a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200) WUXGA display and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). LG has decided to go with the old Snapdragon 800 SoC for the tablet. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera without flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes in both WiFi and 4G variants. LG introduces Music Flow P5 and SoundPop 360 portable Bluetooth speakers

LG has introduced its new Music Flow P5 (NP5550) and SoundPop 360 (NP7860) portable Bluetooth speakers ahead of IFA. Both these have multi-point connectivity so that you can connect up to three Bluetooth devices at the same time and allows users to simultaneously control the devices and share music. These also have TV Sound Sync feature that allows either speaker to be connected to a Bluetooth-compatible TV and enjoy separated surround sound at home. LG introduced Music Flow P7 (NP7550) Bluetooth speaker earlier this year in Korea.

LG NUCLUN 2 processor spotted on GeekBench, beats Samsung’s Exynos 7420 SoC

LG had announced NUCLUN Octa-Core processor with four 1.5GHz cores ARM Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A7 cores in October last year. Now, it looks like the company is working on next generation NUCLUN chip that can compete with Samsung’s Exynos 7420.

LG Nexus (2015) with fingerprint sensor surfaces in renders

Details about LG and Huawei-made Nexus smartphones surfaced earlier this year. A recent rumor revealed that the LG Nexus (2015) might come with a fingerprint sensor. Now new renders of the smartphone has surfaced on uSwitch from @OnLeaks.  These unofficial renders that are created based on factory schematics shows a large camera sensor on the back with dual-tone LED flash, laser auto focus and a circular fingerprint sensor below the camera module.

LG to expand its Hi-Fi Music Service for premium smartphones globally

LG has announced that it will expand its high-fidelity (Hi-Fi) music service globally starting from this month for its customers who uses premium smartphones. This service was first introduced in Korea back in March 2014, where the cumulative downloads has topped 25 million. This will offer 24 bit/192kHz Hi-Fi studio-like audio experience, about 6 times the sound quality of a typical CD (16bit/44.1kHz).
