LG G4 Stylus 3G with 5.7-inch HD display, Octa-Core SoC launched in India for Rs. 19000

LG has launched G4 Stylus 3G (H540D), 3G variant of the G4 Stylus that was launched in India last year. The G4 Stylus with 4G support was launched in India for Rs. 24,990 back in July and got a price cut to Rs. 21,000 in August. The 3G variant of the smartphone has a 5.7-inch HD display, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the 4G variant, but this is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor, instead of Snapdragon 410 SoC and has a 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, laser auto focus, instead of 13-megapixel camera on the 4G variant. LG H830 surfaces in UA Profile – Should be the G5

A new UA profile has surfaced online that shows a new LG handset with the model number H830. This is likely to be a model number of the LG G5 and is shown to be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

LG G5 might have a metal unibody with removable battery thanks to a clever design

Smartphones of late have often resulted in both companies and users having to make choices. You either get superior materials, build quality and design or have features such as removable battery and microSD expansion. Companies like Samsung went for the former while LG chose the latter and it affected their sales as a result. LG unveiled K10 and K7 smartphones in the new ‘K Series’ ahead of CES 2016 last week. Earlier this week the company launched the K10 smartphone in Korea. Now it has revealed LG K4, the entry-level smartphone in the promotional video of K10 and K7. These new ‘K Series’ smartphones share a similar glossy pebble design language with a curved, modern finish targeted at younger generation. LG teases Feb 21st event prior to MWC 2016 – Could be the G5

LG K10 with 5.3-inch HD display, 13MP camera launched in Korea, pricing revealed

LG unveiled K10 and K7 smartphones in the new ‘K Series’ ahead of CES 2016 last week. Now the company has launched the K10 smartphone in Korea. It packs a 5.3-inch HD screen with 2.5D curved arc glass and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). The Korean variant with 4G LTE support has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, is powered by a quad-core processor, has 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot. LG Display introduced its 18-inch flexible OLED panel that is rollable, along with 18-inch transparent OLED panel back in 2014. At that time it said that it will develop an Ultra HD flexible and transparent OLED panels of more than 60 inches by 2017. Today the company has announced that it will showcase the world’s first 18-inch rollable display along with other latest OLED and LCD products at the CES later this week. LG introduced V10, the company’s flagship smartphone in the new V series back in October. We already brought you the unboxing and the benchmarks of the smartphone, here we have the battery test results. The LG V10 packs a 3,000mAh removable battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support and Fast Charging. It has a 5.7-inch Quad HD In-cell Touch Quantum display along with a 2.1-inch (160 x 1040 pixels) IPS Quantum display, is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Check out the test results below.

LG started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for its flagship LG G4 smartphone starting from Poland back in October. Now the Korean giant has started rolling out (Via) Android Marshmallow update for the LG G3 smartphone starting from Poland. It is currently available only via PC Suite, and the OTA update is expected soon. The smartphone got the official CM13 nightly builds based on Android 6.0 last month.
