At that time it said that it will develop an Ultra HD flexible and transparent OLED panels of more than 60 inches by 2017. LG introduced V10, the company’s flagship smartphone in the new V series back in October. We already brought you the unboxing and the benchmarks of the smartphone, here we have the battery test results. The LG V10 packs a 3,000mAh removable battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support and Fast Charging. It has a 5.7-inch Quad HD In-cell Touch Quantum display along with a 2.1-inch (160 x 1040 pixels) IPS Quantum display, is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Check out the test results below.

LG started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for its flagship LG G4 smartphone starting from Poland back in October. Now the Korean giant has started rolling out (Via) Android Marshmallow update for the LG G3 smartphone starting from Poland. It is currently available only via PC Suite, and the OTA update is expected soon. The smartphone got the official CM13 nightly builds based on Android 6.0 last month. LG Spirit 4G with VoLTE, 4.7-inch HD display launched in India for Rs. 11900

LG had already announced its plans to launch Spirit LTE and G4 Stylus 4G smartphones with VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) and VoWiFi (Voice Over Wi-Fi) support in India in partnership with Reliance Retail. Now the company has launched the Spirit 4G LTE (LG-442) smartphone in the country. The company said that the new VoLTE and VoWiFi features will enable faster transmission of data and voice. LG today announced that it will introduce a new Tone Infinim 2016 (HBS-910) Bluetooth Stereo headset at the CES 2016 next month. The new Tone Infinim will come with an enhanced slim and lightweight design. The new premium Bluetooth stereo headset has been developed in collaboration with Harman/Kardon, similar to the first Tone Infinim.

Google introduced the Nexus program with the HTC Google Nexus One. The primary objective is to showcase the power of Android by using decent hardware and selling the devices at decent price points. Nexus devices always have a place in the hearts of Android purists as it has a stock Android experience and always are the first phones to receive new updates. Since the first Nexus smartphone, Google has released a Nexus smartphone every year. This year however, Google released two smartphones, the LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P to provide two options for users. The 5X is the “lower-end” handset of the two and is a direct successor to the Nexus 5 which was released in 2013. Nexus phones in the past have always had issues and compromises that the users had to make in exchange for a stock Android experience. However, things appear to be different this time around with both the Nexus devices. LG V10 sales surpass 4,50,000 units in the US in 45 days

LG today announced that the sales of its V10 smartphone has crossed 4,50,000 units in the US in just 45 days after the launch. It was launched in the US at the end of October and went on sale across major US carriers in early November. In the US it sold at the rate of 10,000 units per day on average, said the company.  Commenting on the sales, it said that it was popular among the younger generation, with 37% of its US consumers aged between 25 and 34.

It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera without flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Samsung and LG may not go for 4K displays in 2016

Samsung and LG will not join the race to put 4K displays on the their phones, as per new reports from South Korea. The report citing trusted sources said that both the companies might opt to skip 4K or Ultra HD for their smartphones in 2016.
