Just like Samsung has Samsung Pay, LG is also hard at work to bring their own payment service which will be called LG Pay. While the name certainly doesn’t stand out, the way in which it works might. Apparently, users will need a separate device called as White Card in order to use the service.

LG introduced the K7 and K10 smartphones ahead of CES earlier this month, later the K10 was launched in Korea and the K4 smartphone surfaced on the official website. LG Electronics has reported revenues of 14.56 trillion won (US$ 12.57 billion) in Q4 2015, a 3.8% increase compared to the same quarter last year with operating profit of 349 billion won (US$ 301.38 million), up 27% from the same period the previous year. For the whole 2015 operating income was 1.19 trillion won (US$ 1.03 billion), compared to 1.83 trillion (US$ 1.58 billion) in 2014 on revenues of 56.51 trillion won (US$ 48.8 billion), compared with 59.04 trillion won (US$ 50.98 billion) the previous year, mainly due to sluggish global market demand for TVs and softer growth of smartphone market. Along with Samsung Galaxy S7, reports and rumors of the LG G5 have also surfaced since past few months. Now a couple of images of the LG G5 prototype have leaked showing some of the hardware of the upcoming flagship from LG.
Similar to what Samsung did with the Galaxy S6 lineup, it seems that LG have gone and done a bit of a Project Zero with their upcoming LG G5 flagship as well. A new sketch of the devices design reveals a fresh new design which showcases a very design design philosophy compared to the LG G4.

LG has launched G4 Stylus 3G (H540D), 3G variant of the G4 Stylus that was launched in India last year. The G4 Stylus with 4G support was launched in India for Rs. 24,990 back in July and got a price cut to Rs. 21,000 in August. The 3G variant of the smartphone has a 5.7-inch HD display, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the 4G variant, but this is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor, instead of Snapdragon 410 SoC and has a 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, laser auto focus, instead of 13-megapixel camera on the 4G variant. A new UA profile has surfaced online that shows a new LG handset with the model number H830. This is likely to be a model number of the LG G5 and is shown to be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Smartphones of late have often resulted in both companies and users having to make choices. You either get superior materials, build quality and design or have features such as removable battery and microSD expansion. Companies like Samsung went for the former while LG chose the latter and it affected their sales as a result. LG has taken wraps of two new smartphones in the K series ahead of the upcoming CES 2016. LG K7 and LG K10 are the first two devices in the K series which come with the advanced camera technology and UX features.
