HTC has started teasing their upcoming One Max smartphone. The company has posted a new Vine video on the official Twitter page with a tag line Big Things Ahead. Even though this doesn’t feature any device, their Instagram video clearly shows a large device, as you can see in the image above. HTC launched the HTC One, their flagship smartphone in India back in April. Now the HTC One Dual SIM has appeared on the official HTC India website. Other than the Dual SIM support, other specifications would be similar including a 4.7 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, Android Jelly Bean with Sense 5, UltraPixel camera with LED Flash and a 2.1MP HD front-facing camera. HTC officially launched the Desire 600 Dual SIM last week. Here we have the device for unboxing. It is the first phone from HTC with GSM support to feature Dual Active SIM support that allows you to have two SIM cards active all the times, enabling you to receive a call on first SIM, even if you are already using the other. Since this is a Dual SIM Active device you don’t need any setup like the Samsung’s Smart Dual SIM feature.

It is the results season, and every company has been relentlessly working on posting its numbers for the investors to analyze, and HTC is no exception. They have just revealed their complete audited performance numbers for Q2 2013 today. With the HTC One doing well, the revenue has increased, so has the profits, but that hasn’t stopped the company from expecting to post its first losses ever, from 0 to 8%, in the next quarter. The low impact of mid range devices from HTC are to be blamed as the company repeatedly ensured that it will have renewed focus on that specific market segment.

HTC has announced the Desire 500, a mid-range Android smartphone in Taiwan. It has a 4.3-inch (480 × 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Sense 5. It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and BSI sensor and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. It has BlinkFeed and Video Highlight software and comes with Beats Audio support, but it lacks BoomSound that was present in the Desire 600. HTC has finally started rolling out Android 4.2.2 update for the HTC One users in India. It started rolling out first in Taiwan earlier this month. Users in UK and France got the update earlier this week. The long rumoured and heavily leaked HTC One Mini has finally gone official. Filling the space left by the HTC One S, the One mini will be sporting a smaller display and more modest specs, when compared to its bigger brother and flagship, the HTC One. While the design and the looks are almost exactly the same as the One, the internals are different with predictable cost cutting done in the favour of a lower price. So, in any case, this isn’t a smaller flagship like most people expect it to be. While the camera is the same 4MP UltraPixel camera as the One, it loses the OIS functionality, and if you are keen enough to notice the lack of a vertical band above the camera, which is now occupied by the flash, there is no NFC on this either.

Being rumoured for a long time, and eventually leaking in every possible way, the One Mini is a secret kept even worse than that of its bigger brother, the HTC One. HTC One mini had already been spotted several times. The specs of the phone surfaced first in February earlier this year, now it is clear that the phone would feature a 1.4 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU. The press render of the phone appeared back in May and it was caught on camera last month. Full hands-on images of the device has appeared on a Bulgarian website recently. Now a German website has got hold of the images and specifications of the device. This reveals that the phone would come with a 1GB RAM instead of rumored 2GB RAM.
