Today, Google launched the Google for Startups Accelerator-India Women Founders program, which aims to assist women founders in addressing challenges that are unique to their experience, such as fundraising and hiring. Google will pay $118 million for settling gender discrimination lawsuit

Google has agreed to pay $118 million to resolve a gender discrimination class-action complaint involving around 15,500 female employees according to Bloomberg. The settlement occurred as a consequence of a lawsuit filed by three women — Kelly Ellis, Holly Pease, and Kelli Wisuri — who accused the corporation of underpaying female employees in violation of California’s Equal Pay Act, citing a $17,000 salary disparity. Android distribution chart May 2022: Android 11 has 28.3% share

Google has updated its Android distribution chart, importing the data into Android Studio rather than displaying the percentage of devices running a specific version of the OS or higher on their website. The graphic is meant to help developers decide which Android version to support.
