BlackBerry maker RIM has appointed Thorsten Heins as it’s new CEO. RIM has been facing stiff competition from iPhone and Android devices and lost a lot of market share in the US. The company has been drawing a lot of criticism from investors who have been demanding a management overhaul for several months now as the shares of the company have trading at lower levels. With the appointment of the new CEO, the current c0-CEOs Mike Lazaridis and Jim Basillie are stepping down from their posts as co-CEOs but will still be part of the company’s board .Despite losing market share and facing plenty of competition BlackBerry devices are still unbeatable when in comes to handling Email. Here is the FoneArena review of the BlackBerry Torch 2 9810. This is the successor of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 that was launched last year. The BlackBerry Torch 2 was launched in India this August. Both the Torch and torch 2 has similar design including the dimensions, but there are improvements in the display resolution and hardware. It has 8 GB onboard memory that is expandable up to 32GB with MicroSD and 768 MB RAM which is better than the Torch. It is 14.6 mm thick and weighs 161 g. Research In Motion (RIM) might show off their new BlackBerry OS 10 (BBX) at MWC 2012 in February according to a report from pocket-lint. They announced the BBX, their next generation mobile platform at the Developer Conference this October and later changed it to BlackBerry OS 10 at Developer Conference Asia in December due to a ruling by a US District Judge which prevents RIM from using the BBX brand. There were lots of rumors about the BlackBerry OS 10 devices such as BlackBerry London.
