BlackBerry Torch 9810 launched in India for Rs.29990

The BlackBerry Torch 2 (9810) has been launched in India within a month of the official launch in UK. The launch of the BlackBerry 9810 comes close on the heels of  the Bold 9900 launch. The 9810 is the successor to the Torch 9800 and packs a 1.2 GHz processor and runs on the new BlackBerry OS 7. The Torch 2 is priced at Rs.29990 , slightly lower than the Bold 9900.

It packs a 3.2 inch touchscreen and a slider QWERTY keyboard. The 5MP camera can also capture 720p HD Videos . If are you are Blackberry user , are you going to upgrade to the Torch 2 ? If you are a non-Blackberry user , does the device appeal to you ? let us know !

    Looks like a good phone. I used 9800 for quite some time. One thing funny – screen size goes up, battery capacity comes down !!! Earlier phones came with 1400 or 1500 mAH battery. Why now only 1230 or 1300 mAH ? BB are you listening ?
