Asus Padfone 2 Unboxing

The Asus Padfone was an innovative gadget but it was a bit bulky and used only a dual core processor.It launched at Computex earlier this year and we  spotted it at MWC and finally it was launched in India last month. Now we have at FoneArena one of the most innovative gadgets of 2012 the Asus Padfone 2. Google Nexus 7 launching in India at Rs. 19,999


Asus announced few months back that the Nexus 7 would be available in India in November. Asus has now confirmed to us that the Nexus 7 would go sale in India from tomorrow at an MRP of Rs. 19,999. Google announced the Nexus 7, their first Android tablet with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) in June at Google I/O for $199. Google unveiled the 32GB and a 3G variants of the Nexus 7 few weeks back. Asus VivoTab RT TF600 TG launched in India for Rs. 61,999


Asus has launched the VivoTab RT TF600 TG in India. Asus announced the Windows RT tablet at Computex in June, then renamed it from Tablet 600 to Vivo Tab RT later at IFA in August. It has a 10.1-inch (1366×768 pixels) LED Backlight Super IPS+ display with 10 fingers multi-touch display and is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. It runs on Windows 8 RT OS . Google Nexus 7 receives storage bump, 3G option

Earlier this year Google partnered with Asus to launch its first entrant in the tablet space. The 7inch tablet suitably named the Nexus 7 packed high end hardware into an Asus designed shell and ran on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Today Google bumped up storage across the spectrum while retaining the price point. A 3G option was added as well.

Asus PadFone 2 official, launching in Europe and Asia including India in December

Asus has officially announced the Padfone 2, successor of the PadFone that was launched in India last month. It comes with a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super IPS+ display with 550 nits brightness and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU. It would have Qualcomm’s MDM9215 chip for the LTE support. It has a optional keyboard dock. The specs, images, and the video have already been leaked online. Asus Padfone 2 shows off larger screen, new dock in video

Asus took the world by surprise when it launched what is still the world’s only phone and tablet combo, the Padfone. The company is planning to update the specifications of the phone, improve on the docking mechanism and we just got our first look at it via a video where CEO Jimmy Shen walks us through the Padfone 2.

The Padfone 2 is believed to include a 4.7″ screen with a 720p resolution. The camera too is believed to have been bumped up to 13 megapixels. While the  original Padfone Docking Station included a door to let you slide in the phone, the redesigned version is much thinner and has an exposed back. Asus PadFone 2 detailed specs surface, 4.7-inch Super IPS+ HD display, 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU and 13MP camera

Asus recently announced that the they would unveil the PadFone 2 at an event on October 16th that would take place simultaneously in Milan and Taipei. Some details of the PadFone 2 have already been leaked in a benchmark that revealed that it would come with a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS. Asus has started sending out invitations for the launch event of the PadFone 2, successor of the PadFone. It is scheduled for October 16th that would take place simultaneously in Milan and Taipei. The AnTuTu benchmarks of the PadFone 2 have been reportedly leaked that reveals that the PadFone 2 would be powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and come with a 2GB of RAM. Asus PadFone launched in India for Rs. 64999

Asus has finally launched the PadFone in India, as we said last week. Asus unveiled the PadFone last year, but they detailed the specs only at the MWC 2012, earlier this year. The PadFone comes with 4.3-inch (960×540 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The PadFone could be docked into the PadFone station that transforms it into a tablet that has 1.3MP front-facing camera and a micro HDMI port. The PadFone weighs 129 g and the Padfone Station weighs 724 g. Google to announce a 3G Nexus 7 in October, right in time for the iPad mini

Google’s $200 Android tablet, the Nexus 7, is a sweet little device that’s attracted a ton of press because of everything it can do for half the price of the iPad 2. Most folks get the $250 model with 16 GB of internal memory, but still, the $200 8 GB model can handle most people’s needs just fine. There’s a slight problem though. The Nexus 7 isn’t very useful if you try to use it outside your home since it can only connect to WiFi networks. If you live in a part of the world where you can connect to an open WiFi hotspot with little to no effort, then congratulations. Not everyone is so lucky. According to Paul O’Brien from MoDaCo, he says that Google will start selling a 3G enabled Nexus 7 in roughly six weeks. To put it another way, mid October, which coincidentally is when we’re expecting Apple to announce a smaller iPad. Asus Tablet 600 gets renamed to Vivo Tab RT

Asus has announced at IFA 2012 that it has renamed its Tablet 600 to Vivo Tab RT. It was originally announced at Computex in June. The specs would remain the same that includes a 10.1-inch (1366×768 pixels) Super IPS+ display with 10 fingers multi-touch panel, NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.
