Asus has announced MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) at IFA 2014, successor of MeMO Pad 7 ME176C that was announced at Computex 2014 in Taipei. It has a 7-inch (1920 x 1200) Full HD IPS multi-touch display with 323 ppi, powered by a 1.86GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with ZenUI on top. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has Asus SonicMaster Audio Technology and dual Stereo Speakers for enhanced audio output. Asus releases ZenWatch video teaser ahead of IFA launch

After teasing its upcoming smartwatch in images, Asus has released a teaser video for its first Android wear smartwatch that would be unveiled at IFA on September 3rd. Some scribblings on the teaser image revealed stainless steel frame and sexy curves. More teaser images reveals leather strap, sandblasted finish on the back, smooth shell and some kind of composition for the outer body. Asus launched the Zenfone 4 (A450CG) for Rs. 6,999 along with the Zenfone 4 (A400CG) last month. The Zenfone 4 A450CG is now available for pre-order on Flipkart, as Asus promised few days back. The Zenfone A450CG has a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box, compared to the 4-inch WVGA screen, 5-megapixel rear camera and Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) on the Zenfone 4 (A400CG) that we reviewed recently. Update: New teaser from Asus, confirms that it’s going launch their smartwatch at IFA. Scribbled writings in the image reveals that it would have a stainless steel frame, polish as mirrors and sexy curves.

Asus has started teasing its upcoming announcement at the IFA 2014, slated for September 3rd. The first teaser shows a device with curved edges along with the quote “Time has been transformed, and we have changed” by Khalil Gibran that hints at its first Android Wear smartwatch. 20,000 units of Asus Zenfone 5 smartphones to be available on Flipkart from August 18th

Earlier this month Asus stocked 10,000 Zenfone 5 units on Flipkart, after it went out of stock in four days after the launch. It went out of stock again. Asus has released the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the Padfone Infinity (A80) and the Fonepad Note 6 (ME560CG). It rolled out the Kitkat update for the Padfone 2 last month. The KitKat update also brings Asus ZenUI with a new user interface for these devices. The ZenUi brings clean layout, flat icons, new color themes, animations, new ringtone and notification tones. Asus launched the Zenfone 5 smartphone in India last month along with the other smartphones in the Zenfone series. It went on sale on Flipkart and authorised Asus channels soon after the launch starting at just Rs. 9,999, but it went out of stock on Flipkart in just four days after the launch. Today, the company has announced that the Zenfone 5 would be back on stock on Flipkart with 10,000 units available for sale starting tomorrow, August 9th. Asus ZenFone 4 is the cheapest of all the three smartphones from the Zenfone series. The entry-level phone, launched in India last month for Rs 5,999, aims to offer great value for the price it comes at. ASUS has launched the phone in two versions viz, the A400CG and A450CG. The former has a 4 inch screen and a 5-megapixel camera, whereas the latter, which is not available for sale in India yet, has a 4.5-inch screen and an 8-megapixel camera. Asus Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 get new firmware updates in India, brings stability and enhancements

Asus launched the Zenfone series in India last month. These smartphones already got some minor updates soon after the launch for bug fixes, now the company has released a new over-the-air (OTA) update (V1.16.40.8_20140725_9834) for the Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 smartphones. This update improves the 3rd party app compatibility, stability of system UI and brightness of Flash LED when capturing photos. Check out the changelog below.
