A 7 inch Asus tablet has been spotted at FCC that is expected to have the Intel 64-bit Moorefield processor called the Atom Z3560. The tablet which carries a model number K007 is might come with IPS LCD panel which offers a resolution of 1200 by 1920 pixels.

Asus launched the Zenfone series of smartphones in India last month. We reviewed the Zenfone 5 recently. The Zenfone 6, top-end model in the series with a 6-inch HD display is priced at Rs. 16,999. It is one of the few large-screen smartphones in this price range to launch in India recently, apart from smartphones like the Xolo Q2500 PocketPad and Lava Magnum X604 from local manufacturers. Asus has been using Intel Atom processors for its Fonepad tablets, even the Zenfone smartphones are powered by Intel Atom processors. Asus recently launched its budget friendly range of Zenfone handsets in India. Today, the company has announced that 40,000 units of the smartphones have already been sold within 4 days of the debut in Indian market. Asus launched the Zenfone 4 starting at Rs 5,999, Zenfone 5 starting at Rs 9,999 and Zenfone 6 at Rs. 16,999. The Zenfone series is available online only on Flipkart and through Asus’s authorized channels since its launch in India on July 9th.

Asus announced the Zenfone range in January this year that included the Zenfone 4, Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6. We got our hands on the Zenfone 5 prior to its official release this week. Check out the hands on and unboxing video along with benchmarks of the device. The phone which has a 5inch HD display and is powered by Intel Atom Z2580 Chip clocked at 2GHz. The memory storage includes 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage options. The Asus ZenFone 5 runs on Android 4.3 Jellybean and will get the Android 4.4 KitKat update very soon.
